Yeah, Cyberpartygal is right. I got their email saying they need to resolve a glitch in their system.

My paypal account got no such problem

Ahh… I see. Their temporary glitch got me worried for a few hours. My dreams of saving for a Nintendo Wii almost gone!

I tried callling them the other day to demand a status update, but I waited on the phone for 10 mins and no one picked up.. It’s been a while, but now i remember paypal’s dreadful customer service…

I called them today and finally got through…

This guy called Emmanuel seem to have no idea waht was going on, and he made me wait for a couple of minutes and finally he tells me that he will forward my inquiry to their global support and i’ll have to wait up to 72hrs for a reply…

so there…

I called paypal support and they said they know that problem, and its a global problem for all the people which doesnt have us bank account.. he said they will try to fix it as soon as possible.. but that problem has been occured since 11 May.:(

Add US Bank Account (Of course not true, try random numbers), accept your money and delete junk US Bank Account :) It is so easy.

How do you use for adding random numbers? I tried that and it gave error :) you are not the first genius who is trying that

I am from Turkey. Lots of webmasters are dealing with the same problem in here Turkey. Also I have a friend from Iceland she has also the same problem in these days.

Paypal should find a quick solution for that. If not they will lose a lot of online money maker in the following days…

or the “fixed” in this sense means that it will be fixed by then?

Either way its a pretty long time to wait… I’m going to have to refund some payments first .. sigh…

Hey Darren, if in case Paypal is only going to fix the problem only in the beginning of June, I guess it will cost some problems to many people who is using Paypal.

For example now, I already have a few outstanding payment which I can’t receive. And the bad news is I only have 30days where I need to claim my money if not they will be automatically refund the payment.

After that, I probably need to acknowledge my payee to send my payment again but in the end, if I’m not wrong either Paypal or my payee will charge me some extra process me for resending my payment.

I’m sure this is going to happen to many of the people who is using Paypal service as well.

Another thing is, if I have not forgotten, the “add bank problem” has been started since 9 or 10 May 2007, so we rather hope Paypal will resolve the problem by 8 June 2007.

This is because all payment will be refund by 8 June 2007 and so on which is 30 days from the date variation.
…sigh…

i hope somebody’s head is rolling for this, i guess i’ll order the vim card and hope it comes quickly so i can add as US bank account.. :|

Just noticed that I also face the same music. Really curse on Paypal, what a computer glitch. Cannot accept my paypal payment. Now I know why there are some many people pissed on paypal
