The blogosphere changed, majority of bloggers are trying to make money out of daily writing. Some succeeded, go problogging and make blogging their main income while some semi- succeed, managed to pay some bills with the revenue generated from blogging. As for the rest, still trying really hard.
Businessweek.com released a very interesting article related to blogging and making money online. These folks compiled a list of well known bloggers, how they make money online and how much they are making.

icanhascheezeburger.com is always a favorite of mine. no wonder they are receiving so much money. just take a look at the comments thread and you can roughly guess how much page views they have per day!

It seems that you’ll be better off blogging about tech, funny, weird stuff if you want to attract traffic. Tech blogs are already saturated I think, unless you can come up with a different concept. Probably we should now blog about funny and weird stuff like put captions on leaders of the world or something :D
