Why should this be your go-to screen recorder?

You’d be wondering that there are hundreds of screen recording tools out there then why should one opt for HitPaw Screen Recorder. Well, the answer lies in the many interesting features that the tool has to offer.

Here’s a list of some of HitPaw’s main features.

1. Easy to use

You’ll find HitPaw Screen Recorder to be one of the simplest tools to use. It has an intuitive interface that’s so easy to navigate that even the first-time users won’t need any user guide. Additionally, the app is pretty lightweight and doesn’t affect the working of other apps when used.

2. Picture-in-Picture recording

For presenters and content creators, HitPaw offers an amazing picture-in-picture (PIP) function. It enables you to record your screen as well as webcam simultaneously. This function is especially useful for recording presentations or virtual meetings.

The PIP feature gives you 4 different options or recording modes to apply. You can go for big screen and small camera mode (ideal for presentation), big camera and small screen mode (ideal for virtual meetings), a quick switch to webcam recording, and one-click screen recording mode.

3. Game Recording

Game recording feature is one of the three main recording modes that you see on the menu as soon as you launch the HitPaw app. It is a boon for the gamers who want to show their hacks or moves when creating gaming tutorials.

Just start the Game Recording feature before starting your game and everything will be captured as you require. Once the recording is done, you can trim the video’s length and do some other editing and then save it in the output folder.

4. Real-time Monitoring

Either you’re doing screen recording, PIP recording, or recording through webcam, HitPaw gives you a tiny preview of your recording in the menu bar at the top.

This real-time monitoring feature is quite helpful when you’re recording a specific segment of the screen and want to see how it looks in the preview so as to make improvements if required. You can also check the level of mic and speaker volume through the real-time monitoring feature.

5. Hardware Acceleration

When you’re recording or editing videos, your system needs extra power and speed. This can be achieved by using HitPaw’s hardware acceleration feature. It enables your computer to run faster and export much quicker when it is activated.

6. Capture Keyboard and Mouse

The capture keyboard and mouse feature in HitPaw is a great one for creating tutorials and demonstrative videos. Through this feature, you can demonstrate what actions you are performing on your keyboard and mouse. You can also change the effect of the mouse and keyboards.

7. Segment Recording

During screen recording, if a power outage happens or your system gets stuck, there is a great risk of losing the recorded data. HitPaw takes this risk out of screen recording with the segment recording feature.

With the segment recording function, you can save your recordings at predetermined intervals to make sure that you don't lose your data if an unexpected event happens.

8. Schedule Recording

HitPaw Screen Recorder allows you to schedule your recording by setting a start time so the recording on your screen starts automatically without you having to turn it on.

You can schedule a desired date and time when you want the recording to start automatically. There’s also an option to select the recording area as the full screen or a selected area.

9. Timed Recording

Just like schedule recording, you can time your screen recording to stop automatically after a specified period. You can either choose from the given 30 or 60 minutes or set a customized limit according to your requirement.

10. Draw function

During a recording session, this app gives you a great feature to draw on the screen when you want to put emphasis on something. You can draw an arrow, highlight, or draw through a pen. There are also different colors and thickness levels to choose from.
