this is sad. why no one is making wallpapers for widescreens?
standard size wallpapers on widescreen laptops or screens stretch it. not nice. :(

No worries, you can have any background/wallpaper you want.
Open in Photoshop. => Select Rectangle Marque => Set ‘Style’ to ‘Fixed Ratio’ => Set Height to: 1 / Set Width to:1.6 => Drag Select and possition marque => Image>Crop => Save image as .jpeg.
No more wining about backgrounds! jk
