Getting Started

First, install the Custom Google Background extension to your browser. You’ll need to grant it permission to access your data and browsing activity.

After that, you’ll be taken to the Settings page. Here, you can select an image for your Google search background either from your computer or via a URL.

You can even upload multiple images and set them to rotate randomly each time you refresh the page.

Additionally, this extension allows you to customize other elements on the Google search page. You can hide specific elements, like the Google logo or the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button, and adjust the position of your background image.

Tired of your current background? Simply click “change background image” at the bottom left corner of the page. This will take you back to the Settings page, where you can choose a new image.
