Writing paid post is perhaps the most straight forward ways to earn some revenue from blogging. The way pay post works hasn’t changed much; after reaching mutual agreement with advertisers, you write about them, they pay you. And if there is a 3rd party (middle man company) involve, they take cut. Most middle man company provides marketplace for advertisers to look for publishers, vice versa.
If you firmly believe that writing pay post is one good way to revenue from your blog, here’s a list of web services that pays you to write for them. This list will be updated periodically, so if you have a paid post service I’ve missed out I’d like to add them to the list. Necessary credits will be given.

Replyking August 6th, 2007
Hi Kong Kiat, sorry a bit off topic. But wish to ask you what is the advantages of register a domain vs blogspot?
ReplyBoltClock August 6th, 2007
@king: Just suggesting an answer since I’ve had experience with both (currently hosting): Blogger is owned by Google so you can integrate your Google Account with Blogger, and its interface is a bit friendlier than WordPress.
But WordPress makes it way too easy for you to check on how your blog is doing, and to interact with your readers. It’s also open source and doesn’t restrict you to any server-side coding, only your host does.
I moved away from Blogger because I wanted to connect my blog with my upcoming site redesign better, and I could do that with WP and PHP.
You may also want to hear from HK himself. I’m just suggesting an answer. Hope it helps ;)
ReplyCraig Borysowich August 6th, 2007
You may want to also add the ITToolbox.com website where traffic generating bloggers are paid on a monthly scale to contribute.

ReplyMike Panic August 7th, 2007
I’ve used Sponsored Reviews and Review Me and the feedback from my readers is – Don’t!
As for blogging for someone else, it would have to be some serious money per post in order for it to be worth it for me.
ReplyMashiyoshi Son August 7th, 2007
100% of Google Adsense revenues goes directly into your pockets. Just write about what you know and spread the word. I’ve written 7 articles and money from it. I like it a lot. Here’s the site:

Replykher Cheng Guan August 8th, 2007
Interesting, though nothing new. i am sure many bloggers out there must have written for one or more these sites. it’san easy way to generate fast income, but the problem is it could “damage” your blogs. Unless you specially create blogs mainly for reviews, just to earn some revenue.

Of the list, there are a few which you join at your own risk. They either drag payment or don’t pay:
DayTipper – takes forever to pay. Still owe me money for work done 6 months ago.
LoudLaunch – posts often rejected for no reason without a chance to make amendments.
I have reviewed some of these on my site and will review others I haven’t tried yet soon.
Thanks for the info.

BlogFeast (no.4) is no longer in existance.
ReplyBOTW Media (no.9) is a dead-link.
Revka October 9th, 2007
I agree with Lorna: you need to add PayU2Blog. I work for them and have never had any problems with payment. In fact, they have paid a day early several times. They are a text link company – you write a post of at least 60 words and work the advertiser’s link in. They pay $5. That’s $1 for 12 words, or just over 8 cents a word.

I’ve read through the list and the comments and was wondering why noone left a comment stating they left their daytime job to pursue paid blogging as their new career choice? Seems to me, that the persons who are submitting blogs are not getting paid that much and the only way you could make a living at this, would be to join every single pay-you-to-blog site and submit one article a day. That would be a lot of writing, even for the most sincere bloggers. Take care. Coop

I have to agree with what everybody said about http://www.Payu2blog.com – I’ve worked with them for quite some time now, and although they don’t often give high-paying assignments, the tasks come in a steady weekly stream. You won’t have to fight other bloggers for the opportunity at all.
And there’s http://www.SocialSpark.com – PayPerPost’s better and more attractive cousin, run under the same company, Izea. They also give a lot of fun opportunities, and don’t run by Google’s erratic page ranking – they use the more accurate Alexa instead.

blogging is definitely a new trend and a good way to earn money online. having your blog paid by the advertiser means a lot since it’s hard to find a job today. ReplyTorley October 27th, 2008
Thanx for this compilation! Only one like it I could find so far after googling (others were spam-laden traps, ewww). I’m going through the list now. :)
ReplyTorley October 27th, 2008
It appears “Pay Me To Blog About You” now redirects to a domain parking page — you may want to check it out closer and remove it from the list if it’s infact not legit.
Replyramamurthyms October 29th, 2008
you have done a fine turn to selfemployed everywhere.would help better if it is open to people of all nationalities or confined to particular geographical area.A fact which could be added to the info on the sites.
Replyso very frustrating to go through the preliminaries and then get blocked at some point.
Kev October 29th, 2008
Day Tipper doesn’t pay US$3.00 anymore. They stopped doing that in Sept. 2008. Instead, they only offer payments to the top THREE tips each month where cash up to $100 is up for grabs for the best tip of the month. I discovered it while reading its blog.
ReplyPabsi October 30th, 2008
Actually, “meta” means “goal” in Spanish. That’s my native language. And it means the same for every s-s in the world :D

I am interested in blogging for money but am looking for one that tells me, in dollars, or cents, how much I will make per post. Are there any out there? I’m not talking about “20% of ad revenue” or “20% of 90% of ad revenues on Wednesdays only” or any of the other things they come up with; I’m looking for a clear statement of what I will make per post.

Hi there,
We are an UK based company and created PayingPost.com, another “paid blogging” network.
We come with a few new features, like:
PayingPost only charges a 20% fee while our competitors may charge 30-35%
Payments every week or every two weeks (depending on blogger’s activity)
30 day money back guarantee if advertiser not satisfied.
It would be awesome if you could include our website in your list.
Thanks,
ReplyRonald Jensen.

Do NOT sign up with gather.com. Not only do they pay literally pennies for articles which could easily be sold elsewhere for $$, they also are slow at sending rewards and treat their members like children. They prefer to have members snipe at each other and cause trouble, refusing to get rid of those who make the site a nightmare for those who truly are responsible, decent members. They also have horrid customer service, refusing to take action when problems arise and instead tell members to “ignore it, it will blow over”. Their site looks great upon first glance but when it comes to payouts they are very slim. A friend downloaded literally thousands of photos one weekend to test the payment system and made less than $10….He figured it out and it came to less than 50 cents an hour. Hardly worth spending the time to put up with the hassle. There are far other sites which treat their members with more respect than this one.

Bloggerwave paid me only $40 out of $70…the $30 they owe has been ignored for over 3 months (maybe 5, i forgot already) and they’ve ignored my email request.
PayPerPost used to be good.
Smorty, no more opps.
Blogsvertise always pays but opps have declined.
Blogtoprofit always pays too but opps have declined too.
SponsoredReviews always pays too. Advertisers approve your bid.
ReviewMe opps rare but always pays.
I don’t like BuyBlogReviews and SocialSpark.
Maybe I should blog about my experiences with them…coming up. :)

Helium is a huge rippoff.
a. You pick a topic to write on.
b. You work your butt off on your piece.
c. You post is on Helium
d. Other competing writers get to see and steal you concepts for their own work. Not verbatum but your ideas.
f. Competing writers polish their articles better than yours.
g. Contributors are judged.
h. You loose because others have stolen you topic concepts.
Big rippoff. Would be better to hide a writer’s articles during the evaluation until one article is chosen. But to expose content during the contest is not fair!!!

Has anybody ever heard of BlogDistributor.com?! I signed up a few days ago…this place is off the hook!
They deal with heavy volumes of advertisers which other companies don’t do, and thus end up paying we bloggers more. Pretty simple concept.
I don’t get any referral points or anything like that for this…I’m just being honest and trying to help people out. We can always use some extra cash, especially right now – can we not?
I just thought it’s a quick, and easy way to make some quick cash…and its legit. So, if you have a blog, sign up. They pay within a couple days via Paypal.

PAID BLOGGING! YEAH RIGHT!
We bloggers don’t want to be told what to blog(whether good or bad)but companies that pay you to blog won’t publish your blog and won’t pay you if you say something about them that’s not nice. That then defeats the purpose of a blogger being independent and to use his or her own mind to express themselves.
Pay per post or pay per blog is a scam. Sorry folks but it is. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT IS!
Citizen Journalism sites either don’t want to or can’t afford to pay regularly(regualr check). Blogging for free won’t pay my bills otherwise I would blog for free.
Some newspaper sites allow readers to blog on their site but they don’t pay you for it. Again blogging for free doesn’t pay bills.
It’s truly a shame that there’s not one site that is actually legitimate and pays the blogger a regular check. If i got paid a regualr check to blog about whatever I want on any topic(and I blog about many dfferent things)then I could quit my non-writing job and focus only on blogging or Citizen Journalism.
ONCE AGAIN Pay per post or pay per blog is a scam. Sorry folks but it is. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT IS!

I’d like to warn all writers to stay away from Blogsvertise. You have to wait 30 days for payment. I could accept that if I actually got paid after 30 days. In my case, I wrote two blog posts for them that were due to be paid on 5/11/2009. Today is 5/17/2009 and I have yet to be paid. I wrote them a letter about it and got an unsatisfactory response. All they did was direct me to the FAQ’s.
I wrote my blog posts on faith that I would be paid for them. I will not write for Blogsvertise again and I will warn as many writers as possible to stay away from them. There are people who have been paid by Blogsvertise, but you don’t want to take the chance that you may be one who gets scammed. They are an unprofessional organization, and I wish I hadn’t been stupid enough to write for them.

” SEE HOW MY DAUGHTER AND GRAND CHILDREN TREAT ME “
Oscar Monroe Zehner,
I have already verbally warned you to discontinue stalking my family. You have to go out of your way to come down my street. You do not know anyone down this street or near my block to justify and excuse for continuously riding around my house. I have photo, video, etc indicating your attempt to violate my civil privacy. Your acts are acts of child endangerment; my children can not play outside without the fear that “GRANDPA” is going to hurt them. When have you shown compassion, love, to your grandchildren, children, etc.
If you feel I am violating your rights, then I expect to see you in court. I will pursue pressing charges on you, also file litigation in civil court while you pend your criminal charges.
This is a legal warning sent to Oscar Monroe Zehner. Any further stalking, threats, violent outbursts, I will file a civil suet in the amount of $75,000 for pain and suffering, mental anguish, child endangerment, and what ever charges my well paid for lawyer adds to the counts.
Good day!

I was writing posts from 8am until I went to bed at midnight and making a few hundred a day and then google changed everything by killing the page rank of any blog obviously selling links and most of us were very obvious. Payperpost had been demanding obvious disclosure and tracking codes from its bloggers for some time and everyone blogging for payperpost got hit the worse. Overnight almost the entire network hit zero. Lots of people who were making lucrative money had to go out and get jobs. It sucked. I gave up for a while but I am slowly rebuilding and this time concentrating on adsense and selling links in my sidebar and I have a lot more than the original 12 blogs as well. If your going to sell blog posts keep them on topic and well concealed or google will kill your page rank. Avoid payperpost and any other site that requires any kind of disclosure or tracking code if you want to keep your page rank.

Blogburner no longer seems to exist. I signed up for them but the confirmation link only took me to a page that says “Can not contact C Panel.” I tried reading some of their blogs and each one brings me a page that says “You are searching for something that does not exist.”

I write many many blogga post. Da man sez my compensation to be in labooma berries. Jambeeka WANT CuRrEnCy. Labooma berries are very plentiful in my locale. Please send NO MORE. Dis is not what I bargain for and not what promised by you.
Despite the difficulty with labooma berry compensation, I am quite pleased with the outcome.

Very nice! This list will surely help bloggers to earn money blogging by posting a blog entry especailly the payperpost.
Payperpost is a great way of making money per blog entry you wirte. I have tried it myself and I have earn a few dollars on it. I just stopped posting on PPP so I also stopped earning on it. But if I was only seriously attached on submitting blog entry on PPP, I’m sure I’ll earn a lot of money from it.

I’ve been blogging and making money with paid to posts and it has became the major source of my online earning. I started off with linkworth and then moved to payperpost.. I earned a big money with PPP, smorty, linkworth and many more but this year my biggest money making source PPP is having bad time and there’s low paying offers.
I’ve blogged for blogsvertise and they have paid me well. I think these time all of these sites are having bad times as advertisers are moving away from them and there’s a lot of quality bloggers out there to write.
I now do freelance jobs to pay the bills and have my own blog about affiliate marketing and make money online. Thanks for the list.. looking forward for new ways to make money with blog.

Though some of the above sites went out of business, there are a few that are quite promising; Blog Burner, for instance. Good work and cheers.
