26 Sites That Pay You to Blog

get paid blogging

Updated: 28 Sites now.

Writing paid post is perhaps the most straight forward ways to earn some revenue from blogging. The way pay post works hasn’t changed much; after reaching mutual agreement with advertisers, you write about them, they pay you. And if there is a 3rd party (middle man company) involve, they take cut. Most middle man company provides marketplace for advertisers to look for publishers, vice versa.

If you firmly believe that writing pay post is one good way to revenue from your blog, here’s a list of web services that pays you to write for them. This list will be updated periodically, so if you have a paid post service I’ve missed out I’d like to add them to the list. Necessary credits will be given.

    Reply
  9. BoltClock August 6th, 2007

@king: Just suggesting an answer since I’ve had experience with both (currently hosting): Blogger is owned by Google so you can integrate your Google Account with Blogger, and its interface is a bit friendlier than WordPress.

But WordPress makes it way too easy for you to check on how your blog is doing, and to interact with your readers. It’s also open source and doesn’t restrict you to any server-side coding, only your host does.

I moved away from Blogger because I wanted to connect my blog with my upcoming site redesign better, and I could do that with WP and PHP.

You may also want to hear from HK himself. I’m just suggesting an answer. Hope it helps ;)

Interesting, though nothing new. i am sure many bloggers out there must have written for one or more these sites. it’san easy way to generate fast income, but the problem is it could “damage” your blogs. Unless you specially create blogs mainly for reviews, just to earn some revenue.

Of the list, there are a few which you join at your own risk. They either drag payment or don’t pay:

DayTipper - takes forever to pay. Still owe me money for work done 6 months ago.

LoudLaunch - posts often rejected for no reason without a chance to make amendments.

I have reviewed some of these on my site and will review others I haven’t tried yet soon.

    Thanks for the info.

I agree with Lorna: you need to add PayU2Blog. I work for them and have never had any problems with payment. In fact, they have paid a day early several times. They are a text link company - you write a post of at least 60 words and work the advertiser’s link in. They pay $5. That’s $1 for 12 words, or just over 8 cents a word.

Seems to me, that the persons who are submitting blogs are not getting paid that much and the only way you could make a living at this, would be to join every single pay-you-to-blog site and submit one article a day. That would be a lot of writing, even for the most sincere bloggers. Take care. Coop

I have to agree with what everybody said about http://www.Payu2blog.com - I’ve worked with them for quite some time now, and although they don’t often give high-paying assignments, the tasks come in a steady weekly stream. You won’t have to fight other bloggers for the opportunity at all.

And there’s http://www.SocialSpark.com - PayPerPost’s better and more attractive cousin, run under the same company, Izea. They also give a lot of fun opportunities, and don’t run by Google’s erratic page ranking - they use the more accurate Alexa instead.

blogging is definitely a new trend and a good way to earn money online. having your blog paid by the advertiser means a lot since it’s hard to find a job today. With all your thoughts plus a computer, you could easily post anything-angst, sorrow, happiness–as to any various topics you want.and for as long as you;re paid lol!
