30 Nice Firefox 3 Compatible Themes

If you are previously using a customized theme on your Firefox 2 and had just upgraded over to Firefox 3, you might not want to settle with the default Firefox theme your peers have on their desktop. Thanks for mentioning Newgrounds! That site rocks, and indeed the theme was updated for Firefox 3 since one of the betas, although I’m not going to use it…

@ Ramy: Yes I agree with you.

This theme is just simple yet too cool too.

I don’t like themes with too many colors. It just puts a lot of stress to the eyes.

By the way… didn’t know the URL-bar was updated like this, that if you type a part of a website (for example ‘kiat’), Hongkiat.com will appear to, so you don’t have to start with the first chars (handy if you only remember a part of a website’s name).

I’m not sure it’s just me or what, but the new Firefox 3 default theme really look like Safari’s. Sometimes during all the swapping, it kinda get me confused.

Yeah…i realise that too….It seems like Firefox 3 is combining features from those browsers currently available…

FireHawke 3D 1.6 does not work in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0

It says its not compatible. I did however download the the latest version. It says for 3 but its not working.

gah.. i’ve been fiddling with the themes and all for the perfect mac theme for windows!! until now, not one is great. :(

Although I live Firefox 3 very much, all my add-ons themes and pluggins no longer work (from FF2). There was no warning about this prior to installing! They will not re-install, and they still wont work when I go back to FF2. VERY ANNOYING - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…..

Well my favorite themes that were on FF2 were Redshift 2 and BloodFire, which are not listed here of course. Sorry, still seems only the dull ones are compatible are FF3…I’ll give it another month then i’m going back to 2.0 and just use the nightly tester tool to get my themes back.

UUuuumm… why do all these sites say ,”Awesome Fire Fox 3 Themes” “Cool Looking FF Themes” ?

These themes AREN’T COOL, they are NOT AWESOME!

What they are is BORING , PLAIN NO BETTER THAN WHAT CAME AS THE DEFAULT!

Are you serious? The majority of these themes make my eyes want to fall out, much like the typical MySpace page. Where are the themes that are easy on your eyes, and flow naturally? Much like any good UI (see default FireFox theme).
