When Google first introduced their new favicon, the whole blogosphere were talking about it and most of them were like, did not like it very much. I too, personally prefer the old one. But that being said, even the new ‘g’ favicon looks really simple, it didnt take these guys few minutes to come out with.

The Google design team took more than 100 approaches before they came to this simple ‘g’ favicon. However nothing is final yet, and if you think you know how a Google favicon should look like, Google is inviting you to design one.
Requirements
- resolution: 16 pixel x 16 pixel image
- format: .png, .gif, or .ico
- size: 5 KB
- transparency: 32 bit alpha transparency

Wow I think Google will get thousands logos. It is because many web surfers are Google’s fans.

Wow,Undoubtedly they are going to get millions of favicons everyday as Google is having the highest number of fans in the world. Lets hope Google get some new, creative and interstingly nice favicon.
