Tired of having your online photos ripped by someone else, watermark them with PicMarkr. PicMarkr is a web service that helps you add custom watermarks to images, for free. This free web service works in 2 ways, you can either
- Browse your photo from local computer (by batch or single), or
- Grab photos from your Flickr account.
Either way, you then proceed to insert your custom watermark (text, image or tilt), choose the watermark alignment. Finally you can download the image or have it upload to your Flickr account.
And by the way, you can even resize your image with PicMarkr before stamping a watermark.
And if you are a Wordpress users happened to be a victim of image hotlinker, here’s a plugin to prevent image theft.

I usually put my watermark using photoshop. Dont like use online services because you need to do a lot of work, like, need to upload it first, put and align your watermark., download the image, and so on.

Cypher: I agree to you to a certain extend, in fact I use Photoshop scripts to help me watermark images needed. Maybe I’ll write a tut on that later for those who need it.
But then on the other side, these kind of free web services helps when Photoshop is not available. I kinda like to collect many of these free web service and bookmark them. Imagine one day you are on vacation, you are using public computer you still can perform much like what you can do with your personal machine :-)

Thanks for this info. I usually use Microsoft Digital Image Suite but I’m not very good at it and don’t know how to add watermarks (if this feature is included), so pickmark will surely help me.
