I’m kinda excited to announce you the launch of my second Wordpress theme – Soveryn, named after my old IRC nickname. Soveryn comes in 3 columns, widget ready with rounded corner. Its thin header gives a more comfortable exposure to sidebar contents before scroll.
Text/Image Header
By default, theme will be using a text header but with the .psd file I’ve provided in the zip, you can turn it to a rather graphical one. Here’s how you can do it.
- Open logo.psd in Photoshop, change the text (The design & style too if you wish)
- Save it as logo.gif in /image
- Open up style.css, uncomment
background:url(images/logo.gif) no-repeat;
color:#5b86a4;
display:block;
text-indent:-999px;
z-index:-1;
Comment it back if you decided to use text header.
Save everything and upload logo.gif and style.css to their respective path.

Hello,
Thanks for the nice template.
I am having a tough time while trying to tweak the header.
I am tring to make the Header a bit taller, i would say 100 pixels instead of 66. I tried to modify the Template css file, but the header stayed 66 pixels.
Can you please outline how the hider can be made a bit taller?

Gili: Where you edit in CSS should already make your header 100px; however the background imagine is designed too look like 66px, that’s what confused you and think the header is still 66px. You will need to edit background_body.gif too. Then you’ll see the picture. Good luck.

Hello and great work with this theme, I would like to know if it is possible to keep the links alive in archives? because broken links in archives pass through the quote box. You can visit my blog and tell me please if it is a solution about this? Thanks

sry, I forgot to tell u, this hapens with Firefox and Safari, lol with IE everything is okay .. but not the rounded corners.

hi hongkiat, i’ve recetly adopted your wonderful theme, but i just have a couple of small issues.
1.i can’t make the header image appear even after i’ve uncommented that part in the stylesheet and uploaded my own logo.gif
2. the second sidebar appears broken i IE 6
3. is there any way i can choose only specific pages to appear on my header menu? (i have other pages that i don’t want to appear on the header menu)
again, cool design, and i hope you can come up with more.

Nice theme. I am using it but getting the 2.3 database error.
Are you going to fully update for 2.3? Or did you do a newer version and still call it 1.0?

re the theme soveryn 1.0 I installed it and I only have a “Home” link on the top right corner. I want to put a “Store” link beside the “Home” link that will go to http://www.mydomain.com/store. Please tell me how i can do it. thanks
