The AI agent reads your inbox, searches conversations, and drafts replies. I think it is a solid alternative to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/herd.laravel.com\">Laravel Herd<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure>\n        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/designers-developers-monthly-07-2026\/yerd.jpg\" alt=\"Yerd PHP development environment\" width=\"1000\" height=\"600\">\n    <\/figure>\n<hr>\n<h2 id=\"hidden-bar\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dwarvesf\/hidden\">Hidden Bar<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Hidden Bar<\/strong> is a tiny macOS utility that hides menu bar icons. You drag items into a hidden section and click the arrow to toggle. It also works with keyboard shortcuts. It requires macOS Ventura or later. I think it is one of those tools where you wonder why it is not built into macOS.<\/p>\n<figure>\n        <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/designers-developers-monthly-07-2026\/hidden.jpg\" alt=\"Hidden Bar macOS menu bar utility\" width=\"1000\" height=\"600\">\n    <\/figure>\n<hr>\n<h2 id=\"elephc\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/elephc.dev\">elephc<\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Elephc<\/strong> compiles a static subset of PHP to native assembly. There is no interpreter, no VM, no <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zend_Engine\">Zend Engine<\/a>. It has 400+ built-in functions, 21 data types, and 3000+ tests. It outputs standalone binaries and a prefork HTTP server. I think the output binary from a simple PHP file is impressively small. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, and others. I think the output quality is impressive for an open-source tool. It has a TUI with bookmarks, stores passwords in your system keychain, and runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and BSD.
