Here\u2019s a quick and easy way to get the color code of anything displayed on your Mac\u2019s screen without installing any eyedroppers or color picking tools<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First, launch Spotlight by pressing the Spacebar<\/span> + Command<\/span> keys, then type in Digital Colour Meter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When the app is open, you\u2019ll see that as you move your cursor around the screen, it shows the colors that your cursor is pointing to.<\/p>\n

If you want to save and use the color elsewhere, go to View > Display Values > As Hexadecimal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now, find the color you are looking for on the website or somewhere else, then hit Command<\/span> + L<\/span> to lock your cursor on that color.<\/p>\n
