Google Docs is already an amazing online documentation tool. But there are still some features that even the regular users of Google Docs don\u2019t really know about. One such feature is the newly added adding watermark to your document feature.<\/p>\n

In this post, we are going to discuss how to add image watermark<\/a> and text watermark<\/a> in Google Docs, as well as removing them<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Adding Watermarks in Google Docs<\/h2>\n

It is really easy to add a watermark in Google Docs. To do that:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open a Google Docs document and from the top menu, select Insert<\/strong> > Watermark<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

    \"insert<\/span><\/p>\n

  2. You\u2019ll be able to see the option to add a watermark on the right panel. From here you can either add an image watermark<\/strong> or a text watermark<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

    Adding a Image Watermark<\/h3>\n

    To add an image watermark, click Select Image<\/strong> and then drag your logo or image on it, and that\u2019s all!<\/p>\n

    Your watermark, by default, will appear right in the middle, obvious, and probably affecting the readability.<\/p>\n

    By tweaking the Scale<\/strong>, and or Fade<\/strong> option, you can make it look better, as though it is behind the text.<\/p>\n

    \"watermark<\/span><\/p>\n

    You can also go into the More image options<\/strong>, play around with Size & Rotation<\/strong>, Position<\/strong> and Adjustment<\/strong> to make your watermark look nicer.<\/p>\n

    The added watermark will appear exactly the same way on every page<\/strong> of that particular Google Docs file.<\/p>\n

    To remove the added watermark, simply click on the Remove watermark<\/strong> below.<\/p>\n

    Adding a Text Watermark<\/h3>\n

    Adding a textual watermark is even simpler. Just go over to the Text<\/strong> tab, add in your watermark text, customize the formatting, and you\u2019re done!<\/p>\n

    You can also adjust the transparency of the watermark and its position to your liking.<\/p>\n
