However, it's not...\t\t\t\t\t\t<span>Read more<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"test_small_amount\">What happens when a transfer is initiated<\/h3>\n<p>To walk you through the entire coin-transferring process from point A to point B, we will be using the following as an example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Coin<\/strong> \u2013 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/axie-infinity\/\">AXS<\/a> (Axie Infinity)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Point A<\/strong> \u2013 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\">Binance Platform<\/a> (Coin\u2019s current location)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Point B<\/strong> \u2013 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coinbase.com\/wallet\">Coinbase Wallet<\/a> (Coin\u2019s final destination)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To put it simply, when you transfer a coin from Point A to B, it <strong>first leaves the platform<\/strong> and then gets <strong>validated by the blockchain<\/strong> (which could take a while) before it <strong>ends up at its destination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Test transfer with a small amount<\/h3>\n<p>Test-transferring a small amount allows you to be familiar with the entire transfer process and get a good idea of how long the process is going to take before the coin is reflected at the destination.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, any <strong>information entered wrongly<\/strong> in the process (i.e, destination address, network type, etc) may cause <strong>coins to be lost<\/strong>, or at least <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/academy.binance.com\/en\/articles\/how-to-recover-crypto-transferred-to-the-wrong-network-on-binance\">troublesome to recover<\/a>. Therefore, it is advisable to initiate a <strong>test transfer with a small amount<\/strong> of coins.<\/p>\n<p>Ready to transfer some coins? Let\u2019s get started.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1 \u2013 Retrieve destination address <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Open your Coinbase Wallet app and tap the <strong>Receive<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/04.jpg\" alt=\"open coinbase wallet\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Type in \u201cAXS\u201d, or \u201cAxie Infinity\u201d and then tap on the right one in the search result.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/05.jpg\" alt=\"type in and search\" width=\"1010\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Tap the <strong>QR code<\/strong> to copy your AXS wallet address.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/06.jpg\" alt=\"tap qr code\" width=\"1010\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Step 2 \u2013 Add address to whitelist in Binance <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to your Binance app, tap <strong>Wallet<\/strong> (bottom right), and then tap <strong>AXS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/01.jpg\" alt=\"go to binance app\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>On the AXS page, tap the <strong>Withdraw<\/strong> button (bottom left).<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/02.jpg\" alt=\"tap withdraw\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Assuming this is your first time withdrawing (transferring cryptos out from Binance), you will first need to add and whitelist your destination\u2019s address, i.e. your Coinbase Wallet\u2019s AXS address.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/03.jpg\" alt=\"add to whitelist\" width=\"1010\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Tap on the <strong>bookmark-alike icon<\/strong> under Address and then tap \u201c<strong>Go to Add<\/strong>\u201d to initiate adding and whitelisting your destination address.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/08.jpg\" alt=\"go to add\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Paste the address copied from the Coinbase wallet earlier into the <strong>Address<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/09.jpg\" alt=\"paste address to coinbase\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Now, you\u2019ll have to choose the network. For AXS, we will use the <strong>Ethereum (ERC20) network<\/strong>.\n    <strong>Note:<\/strong> You should be careful of your network selection. A wrong network may result in coins being lost in the transfer. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.ledger.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4402646489873-Withdrawing-coins-from-Binance-which-network-should-I-select-?support=true\">Click here<\/a> to learn more about which network to select for your coin.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/10.jpg\" alt=\"the network\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Moving on, tap <strong>Address Origin<\/strong>, then for <strong>Type<\/strong> select <strong>Wallet<\/strong> and for <strong>Platform<\/strong> select <strong>Others<\/strong> and give it a name. For this tutorial, I\u2019ll give it a self-descriptive name \u2013 <em>Coinbase Wallet<\/em>. Once done, tap <strong>Confirm<\/strong>.\n    <strong>Note:<\/strong> We chose Type &gt; Wallet because we are transferring to an address in Coinbase Wallet (a software wallet), and not an address in Coinbase.com (the platform).<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/11.jpg\" alt=\"address origin\" width=\"1456\" height=\"2884\"><\/figure>\n<li>Check to make sure all information (Coin, Address, Network, and Address Origin) is correct, then tap <strong>Save<\/strong> to add and whitelist the address.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/12.jpg\" alt=\"check infomation\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Before the address can be added and whitelisted, your identity needs to be verified. Tap <strong>Send Code<\/strong> to verify both your phone number and email address.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/13.jpg\" alt=\"send code\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Step 3 -Transfer your coin<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Once the verification is complete, you will be directed back to the Withdraw page. This time, tap the <strong>Address<\/strong> field, select the address added in earlier, and tap Confirm.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/14.jpg\" alt=\"tap confirm\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>The network should be automatically selected, but in case it\u2019s not, manually select <strong>Ethereum (ERC20)<\/strong> for this transfer. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.ledger.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4402646489873-Withdrawing-coins-from-Binance-which-network-should-I-select-?support=true\">Click here<\/a> to learn more about which network to select for your coin.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/15.jpg\" alt=\"network selected\" width=\"1010\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Tap <strong>Amount<\/strong> and enter the amount of AXS you want to transfer to your Coinbase wallet. Once you make sure everything is correct, tap <strong>Withdraw<\/strong>.\n    <strong>Note:<\/strong> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"#test_small_amount\">Why you should try out with a small amount.<\/a><\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/16.jpg\" alt=\"amount to transfer\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Check all information (Address, Network, and Amount) again and if everything looks good, tap the <strong>Confirm<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/17.jpg\" alt=\"check all infomation\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<li>Before you can transfer your coin out of Binance, your identity needs to be verified again. So go ahead and tap the <strong>Send Codes<\/strong> one more time.<\/li>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/18.jpg\" alt=\"verify account agian\" width=\"979\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Step 4 \u2013 Check its progress<\/h3>\n<p>If verification is a success, you will end up on a page that says \u201d <strong>Withdrawal Request Submitted<\/strong>\u201c, like the following.  This means Binance has started to process your transfer request.<\/p>\n<p>When \u201c<strong>Withdraw request successfully<\/strong>\u201d is checked, that means your coin has successfully transferred to your Coinbase wallet. As mentioned above, the successful transfer may take minutes to hours, sometimes even days, depending on the coin, or the network used.<\/p>\n<p>In our case, AXS was successfully transferred in less than 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"screenshot-mobile-portrait\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/move-coins-to-wallet\/19.jpg\" alt=\"verification success\" width=\"1010\" height=\"1999\"><\/figure>\n<p>You can also tap \u201c<strong>View History<\/strong>\u201d to see the progress.
