Most developers would never want to build a site completely from scratch. This leaves two options: work with a frontend framework<\/a> or use a custom reset.<\/p>\n

The most popular reset is Normalize which formats all browser default styles<\/strong> the same, making it easier to keep consistency across different OS\u2019 and browsers.<\/p>\n

If you try Normalize you\u2019ll probably love it. But Nanoreset<\/a> is another option that\u2019s built for speed.<\/p>\n

This free reset library measures a crazy 950 bytes<\/strong> when minified. That\u2019s probably the smallest reset I\u2019ve ever seen to date.<\/p>\n

It supports all major browsers and customizes all basic page elements<\/strong> for all rendering engines. You just include the Nanoreset CSS file into your page or merge it with your stylesheet using a code minifier<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And this free reset couldn\u2019t be easier to use. It works through package managers npm and Yarn<\/a> so you can download a copy straight from the terminal window<\/strong>. Or you can nab a copy from an online CDN<\/a> which may help speed up<\/a> the load time.<\/p>\n
