If you are looking to move your browser bookmarks to a different browser, then I can help.<\/p>\n<p>In this post, I\u2019ll show you how to import and export bookmarks and other data in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#chrome\">Chrome<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#firefox\">Firefox<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#opera\">Opera<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#edge\">Microsoft Edge<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#ie\">Internet Explorer<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#vivaldi\">Vivaldi<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"note\"><strong>Read Also:<\/strong> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hongkiat.com\/blog\/ios-bookmarks-to-chrome\/\">How To Transfer iOS Safari Bookmarks To Google Chrome<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"chrome\">Chrome<\/h3>\n<h2>Import bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the three vertical dots menu at the top-right corner and go to <strong>Bookmarks &gt; <\/strong><strong>Import bookmarks and settings<\/strong>.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/01-import-bookmarks-and-settings.jpg\" alt=\"bookmarks and settings\" width=\"800\" height=\"409\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>Next, either select the an installed browser to directly import the bookmarks, or<strong> select the HTML file from your PC<\/strong>. While directly importing, you can select type of data as well, such as browser history, bookmarks, passwords, and search engines. Click on <strong>Import<\/strong> when you are done to import the data.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/02-import-bookmarks-chrome.jpg\" alt=\"chrome\" width=\"800\" height=\"377\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Export bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the three vertical dots menu again and go to <strong>Bookmarks &gt;<\/strong> <strong>Bookmark manager<\/strong>.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/03-bookmark-manager-chrome.jpg\" alt=\"chrome bookmark manager\" width=\"800\" height=\"473\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Organize<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Export bookmarks to HTML file<\/strong>. An HTML file will be ready to download.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/04-export-bookmarks-chrome.jpg\" alt=\"export chrome bookmark\" width=\"800\" height=\"495\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"firefox\">Firefox<\/h3>\n<h2>Import bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>From the top bar, click on the <strong>Show Bookmarks<\/strong> button, and select <strong>Show all bookmarks<\/strong>. You may also use <strong><span class=\"key\">Ctrl<\/span> + <span class=\"key\">Shift<\/span> + <span class=\"key\">B<\/span><\/strong> for this.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/05-show-all-bookmarks-firefox.jpg\" alt=\"show all firefox bookmarks\" width=\"800\" height=\"301\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>Next, click on the <strong>Import and Backup<\/strong> menu at the top and click on <strong>Import Bookmarks from HTML<\/strong> to import them from an HTML file, or click on <strong>Import Data from Another Browser<\/strong> to select another browser to directly import data.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/06-import-bookmarks-firefox.jpg\" alt=\"import bookmarks firefox\" width=\"800\" height=\"280\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Export bookmarks<\/h2>\n<p>From the same <strong>Import and Backup<\/strong> menu, click on the <strong>Export Bookmarks to HTML<\/strong> option and save the HTML.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/07-export-bookmarks-firefox.jpg\" alt=\"export firefox bookmarks\" width=\"800\" height=\"266\"><\/figure>\n<h3 id=\"opera\">Opera<\/h3>\n<h2>Import bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Opera menu from the top-left corner and click on <strong>Settings<\/strong>. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut <strong><span class=\"key\">Alt<\/span> + <span class=\"key\">P<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Here move to the <strong>Browser<\/strong> section from the left menu and click on the <strong>Import bookmarks and settings<\/strong> button under the <strong>Default browser<\/strong> heading.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/08-import-bookmarks-and-settings-opera.jpg\" alt=\"opera bookmarks and settings\" width=\"800\" height=\"358\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>Now you can either select a supported browser from the drop-down list or select \u201c<strong>Bookmarks HTML file<\/strong>\u201d option to import from an HTML file.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/09-import-bookmarks-opera.jpg\" alt=\"import opera bookmarks\" width=\"800\" height=\"459\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Export bookmarks<\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, <strong>Opera doesn\u2019t support export feature<\/strong>. However, you can use <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.opera.com\/en\/extensions\/details\/bookmarks-import-export\/?display=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>Bookmarks Import & Export<\/strong><\/a> Opera extension to get this functionality. Install and open up the extension, and click on the <strong>Export<\/strong> button to download the bookmarks HTML file.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/10-export-bookmarks-opera.jpg\" alt=\"export opera bookmarks\" width=\"800\" height=\"601\"><\/figure>\n<h3 id=\"edge\">Microsoft Edge<\/h3>\n<h2>Import bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the three horizontal dots menu at the top-right corner and select <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Now click on the <strong>Import from another browser<\/strong> button under the <strong>Import favorites and other info<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/li>\n<li>Next, you can select a supported browser, or click on the <strong>Import from file<\/strong> button to import from an HTML file.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/11-import-bookmarks-edge.jpg\" alt=\"import edge bookmarks\" width=\"800\" height=\"476\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>Export bookmarks<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Go to the \u201c<strong>Import your info<\/strong>\u201d menu again and click on the \u201c<strong>Export to file<\/strong>\u201d button to download the HTML file.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/12-export-favorites-microsoft-edge.jpg\" alt=\"export favourites\" width=\"800\" height=\"476\"><\/figure>\n<p>Note: The export is <strong>only available in the Creators Update of Windows 10<\/strong>. In case you haven\u2019t updated Windows 10 to Creators Update, you can use this third-party tool <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emmet-gray.com\/Articles\/EdgeManage.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Edge Manage<\/strong><\/a> to export favorites.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ie\">Internet Explorer<\/h3>\n<h2>Import bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Star<\/strong> icon at the top-right corner, and click on the tiny upside down arrow next to the <strong>Add to favorites<\/strong> button. Here click on the <strong>Import and export<\/strong> option.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/13-import-and-export-internet-explorer.jpg\" alt=\"import and export internet explorer\" width=\"800\" height=\"452\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>A wizard will open up. Here you can either select <strong>Import from another browser<\/strong> or <strong>Import from a file<\/strong> option and then follow the wizard to import data.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/14-import-bookmarks-internet-explorer.jpg\" alt=\"import bookmarks internet explorer\" width=\"800\" height=\"424\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Export bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the same \u201c<strong>Import and export<\/strong>\u201d wizard and select the \u201c<strong>Export to a file<\/strong>\u201d option.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/15-export-bookmarks-internet-explorer.jpg\" alt=\"export internet explorer bookmarks\" width=\"800\" height=\"447\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>On the next page, you can <strong>select the type of data that you want to export<\/strong>, including Favorites, Feeds, and Cookies. Afterward, click <strong>Next<\/strong> to finish the process and download the HTML file.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/16-select-data-internet-explorer.jpg\" alt=\"select data internet explorer\" width=\"800\" height=\"436\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"vivaldi\">Vivaldi<\/h3>\n<h2>Import bookmarks<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the Vivaldi menu button at the top-left corner and select <strong>Import Bookmarks and Settings<\/strong> from the <strong>File<\/strong> option.\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/import-export-bookmarks-all-browser\/17-import-bookmarks-and-settings-vivaldi.jpg\" alt=\"import vivaldi bookmark settings\" width=\"800\" height=\"452\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>From the drop-down menu, you can <strong>select a supported browser or an HTML file<\/strong>.
