Hate to admit this but sometimes I really suspect the slowness of my browsing experience comes from heavy memory usage by my Firefox, and there is nothing to replace good-o-firefox. I need to open too many tabs and cannot afford buggy Internet Explorer. I\u2019ve tried it and think it helps a lot.<\/p>\n

How to reduce memory usage in Mozilla Firefox<\/h2>\n

  1. Type about:config<\/strong> in the Firefox address bar <\/li>\n
  2. Search for browser.sessionhistory.max_entries<\/strong> <\/li>\n
  3. Double click on the value 50<\/strong>, change it to something lower, 5<\/strong> should be good. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
