With the WP Hasty web app<\/a><\/strong>, you can save time and frustration by auto-generating snippets<\/strong> at the click of a button. This free web app offers eight different code generators for common WordPress snippets<\/strong> (with many more on the way!)<\/p>\n

Each snippet follows proper coding standards<\/a> for WordPress themes & plugins<\/strong>, so you can just copy and paste the snippets with ease.<\/p>\n

The goal of this site is to help developers create templates for common tasks<\/strong> such as custom taxonomies<\/a> or unique sidebars<\/a> without<\/em> Googling for a tutorial.<\/p>\n

Each generator has its own page on the site and it\u2019s a very simple tool to use. As of this writing, these are the eight supported code generators<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  2. WP Sidebars<\/li>\n
  3. Taxonomies<\/li>\n
  4. Shortcodes<\/li>\n
  5. Custom Post Types<\/li>\n
  6. Visual Composer Element<\/li>\n
  7. Post Status<\/li>\n
  8. WP_Query Loop<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you click any of these buttons you\u2019ll get the generator interface on a new page<\/a> with custom settings for each option<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    For example, the shortcode generator allows you to choose if the shortcode should be auto-closing<\/strong> and if it has attributes<\/strong> (plus, what those attributes are).<\/p>\n

    This way, you can develop a customizable template for your initial setup<\/strong> and work around that. Need an extra attribute for a new shortcode? This generator can do it at the click of a button.<\/p>\n

    All code output appears on the same page<\/strong>, in a small text editor interface. So, you literally just copy-paste the codes into your theme<\/strong> and you\u2019re good to go!<\/p>\n
