If you don\u2019t want to install new WP setups just to test different plugins you\u2019ll love Addendio<\/strong>. It\u2019s a free tool for WordPress users that lets you try thousands of plugins<\/strong> for free through an online web app.<\/p>\n

Just search for the plugin you want<\/strong> and click the blue \u201cTry now\u201d button.<\/p>\n

When you select a plugin, Addendio opens a new window to select the WordPress sandbox environment<\/strong>. You can pick the WP version and the language of the install, and it asks for your email address, too.<\/p>\n

The sandbox is created automatically<\/strong>, so you don\u2019t need to check your inbox for the link. However, you cannot use throwaway emails<\/strong> because the system blocks those automatically.<\/p>\n

By default, each new sandbox lasts 15 minutes<\/strong> before destroying itself. You can increase this time up to 60 minutes<\/strong> if you register a free account with Addendio.<\/p>\n

Each sandbox takes about a minute to set up, then you get links to the main site & admin panel<\/strong>, along with the login credentials<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Addendio creates subdomains automatically<\/strong> with each new install and they\u2019re built solely for testing plugins<\/strong>. I have no idea how they can handle massive traffic like this but the application works really well.<\/p>\n

As of this writing, you can search through a massive list of 52,000+ plugins<\/strong> all from this one website. You can test pretty much every major free plugin on the market, from security plugins<\/a> to SEO and caching plugins.<\/p>\n
