Sound though the concept is, these experiments tend to be limited strictly to web-based experiments.<\/p>\n<p>However, it seems that this may no longer be the case as an app called ><strong>Aivon<\/strong> lets you have an <strong>A.I.-powered image identifier<\/strong> directly on your Android device.<\/p>\n<p class=\"recommended_top\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<strong>Read Also:<\/strong>\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hongkiat.com\/blog\/understanding-artificial-intelligence\/\">Understanding Artificial Intelligence \u2013 and Why We Fear It<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Currently still in development, Aivon is described as a \"<strong>powerful image analysis app<\/strong>\" that runs on artificial intelligence system. By using \"<strong>advanced vision-based computing capabilities<\/strong>\", the developers of the app claims that Avion is<strong> capable of identifying public figures, objects and even read facial expressions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/aivon-analyze-photos\/01-choose-a-method.jpg\" width=\"1489\" height=\"1388\" alt=\"choose a method\"><\/figure>\n<p>In order to use Aivon, you\u2019ll need to choose the subject that you\u2019ll be taking a picture of. The <strong>options are split between emotions and objects<\/strong>. After an option is selected, all that\u2019s left to do is take a picture of the subject with your device\u2019s camera. Once the photo is taken, Aivon will take a while to process it and <strong>comes up with a short description of the picture in question<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/aivon-analyze-photos\/02-analyze-image.jpg\" width=\"1489\" height=\"1710\" alt=\"accurate descriptions\"><\/figure>\n<p>As far as accuracy goes, Aivon can be rather accurate at times. That being said, as the app is still a<strong> work in progress<\/strong>, <strong>you\u2019ll be seeing a fair amount of wrong descriptions<\/strong> from the A.I. itself. While A.I. mix-ups are par for the course, the biggest problem I have with Aivon has to do with the very <strong>intrusive ads that pop-up every so often<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/aivon-analyze-photos\/03-work-in-progress.jpg\" width=\"1489\" height=\"1710\" alt=\"work in progress\"><\/figure>\n<p>Simply put, Aivon is an application that is fun to mess around with every so often just to see how capable the A.I. really is.
