Long before startups were fighting over short domains and premium names, the earliest .com<\/code> registrations were already being claimed by research labs, tech companies, aerospace firms, and industrial giants.<\/p>\n

This list is a snapshot of the first 100 .com<\/code> domains registered in the early commercial internet era. It is less about nostalgia and more about seeing who got online early, and how heavily the first wave was shaped by enterprise technology, telecom, defense, and computing, much like other internet firsts<\/a> from the web\u2019s early years.<\/p>\n
