Remember Sharetube<\/a>? The group video watching application<\/strong> that was made by Google\u2019s internal incubator team now has a new challenger as Little Labs<\/a> has released its own take on the app<\/strong> by way of Let\u2019s Watch It<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Made as an iMessage app instead of a standalone app<\/strong>, Let\u2019s Watch It! is functionally similar to UpTime. For one, the app lets you view YouTube videos together<\/strong>, all while interacting with one another through text chats<\/strong>, emojis and reactions.<\/p>\n

\"choosing<\/figure>\n

However, Let\u2019s Watch It! also comes with features that UpTime does not have<\/strong>. For starters, Let\u2019s Watch It! allows the group to view live streams on both YouTube Live and Twitch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition to livestream support<\/strong>, Let\u2019s Watch It! is also capable of taking advantage of the iOS device\u2019s front-facing cameras and microphones. This allows the group viewing the video to interact more directly with one another<\/strong>, removing the limitations that a text-chat only application has.<\/p>\n

Overall, Let\u2019s Watch It! feels like a more sophisticated version of UpTime in terms of the features<\/strong> it has. That being said, the overall layout of the app feels a bit messier when compared to UpTime. Additionally, because Let\u2019s Watch It! is built directly into iMessage, getting started is rather easier compared to UpTime<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
