But if you just want to come out with a simple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hongkiat.com\/blog\/draw-something-masterpieces\/\">doodle<\/a> with in no time, you could let Google\u2019s latest art-based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hongkiat.com\/blog\/understanding-artificial-intelligence\/\">artificial intelligence<\/a> experiment <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autodraw.com\/\">AutoDraw<\/a> do the drawing for you.<\/p>\n<p>Built on the same technology that powered Google\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/aiexperiments.withgoogle.com\/quick-draw\">Quick, Draw!<\/a>, <strong>AutoDraw is a browser-based experiment<\/strong> that utilises machine learning to analyze your doodles. Once the A.I. analyzes your doodle, <strong>AutoDraw then suggests a number of clip art<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"recommended_top\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<strong>Read Also:<\/strong>\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hongkiat.com\/blog\/pencil-artworks\/\">20 Lifelike Pencil Drawing Masterpieces<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>From there, clicking on <strong>one of the clip arts available would replace your drawing with the selected art<\/strong>. Basically, AutoDraw functions much like auto correct, except instead of fixing your spelling, it fixes your drawings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"video-19by6\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VwRbvVrUXTc\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So how does the experiment work in practice? For starters, the <strong>A.I. that powers AutoDraw is quite competent in recognizing the images<\/strong> that I\u2019ve doodled on the provided space.<\/p>\n<p>While the A.I. provides suggestions that fit the doodles that I\u2019ve drawn, it also has the tendency to suggest images that <strong>don\u2019t appear to have much in common with the doodle<\/strong> in question.<\/p>\n<p>Here are two examples:<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/google-autodraw-autocorrect-your-scribble\/01-doodle-clock.jpg\" width=\"1895\" height=\"925\" alt=\"doodle clock\"><\/figure>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/google-autodraw-autocorrect-your-scribble\/02-doodle-fish.jpg\" width=\"1891\" height=\"927\" alt=\"doodle fish\"><\/figure>\n<p>Those who pay attention to the clip art suggestions may notice that <strong>some suggestions come with a gold star located right next to it<\/strong>. Unlike the other suggestions provided by the A.I., art with gold stars attached to them are provided by the users themselves.<\/p>\n<p>As such, these pieces of art tend to be imperfect. On the plus side, <strong>user-submitted art may sometimes be more detailed<\/strong> than the ones provided by Google themselves.<\/p>\n<h3>Google\u2019s crescent<\/h3>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/google-autodraw-autocorrect-your-scribble\/03-google-crescent.jpg\" width=\"1893\" height=\"923\" alt=\"google crescent\"><\/figure>\n<h3>User submitted crescent <\/h3>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/google-autodraw-autocorrect-your-scribble\/04-user-crescent.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"446\" alt=\"user crescent\"><\/figure>\n<p>While AutoDraw works well enough as an early experiment, there is <strong>one particular quirk with it that puts me off<\/strong>. As it is right now, AutoDraw can only pull up clip art suggestions when the doodle is drawn solely using the AutoDraw tool.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that the <strong>A.I. isn\u2019t capable of detecting doodles or images created without the use of the AutoDraw tool<\/strong>, so using these tools for your doodles feels pointless at the moment.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/google-autodraw-autocorrect-your-scribble\/05-autodraw.jpg\" width=\"337\" height=\"645\" alt=\"autodraw\"><\/figure>\n<p>Odd quirks aside, <strong>AutoDraw is a highly interesting concept that has real potential in the future<\/strong>.
