However, there are some times where having multiple monitors can be more of a distraction instead.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a Mac user who would like an app that would allow you to blackout the monitors in your multi-monitor setup, then you might be interested in <em>Screen Commander<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/screen-commander-mac-app\/how-screen-commander-works.jpg\" alt=\"how screen commander works\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Available for free on the App Store, Screen Commander lets you <strong>blank your additional monitors with a simple click<\/strong>.
