Its current function is to <strong>suggest and connect to open Wi-Fi hotspots <\/strong>within your range using the crowdsourced information. If you need to disable the same for stronger security, just follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Start<\/strong> button. For example, if it\u2019s \"<strong>mynetwork<\/strong>\", then change it to<strong> \"mynetwork_optout\"<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Disable OneDrive Sync<\/h2>\n<p>Microsoft\u2019s OneDrive is a <strong>cloud storage service <\/strong>that comes pre-loaded in Windows 10. This eases <strong>storing and sharing files from any device<\/strong>, but it backs up all your user data if it\u2019s enabled. That\u2019s why it\u2019s <strong>better to turn it off<\/strong> if you\u2019re not a fan of OneDrive and don\u2019t use it as your primary cloud storage.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how to do it:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the system tray, click the up-facing arrow present on the right side.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click the OneDrive app icon. Follow these steps to turn off these options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Start<\/strong> button. These features speed up your browsing and enhance the overall experience. It\u2019s suggested to <strong>turn off such features<\/strong> if Edge is not your primary browser or you don\u2019t use or require such features in Edge. Below are the steps to disable such features:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Edge. Such filters <strong>block malicious sites and downloads<\/strong> by analyzing them, but in the process, your data also reaches the company\u2019s servers. Though it is important to protect against threats, yet if still want to disable these filters, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Right-click the Start button.
