As both devices come with their own set of charging ports, it can be a hassle to separate the Apple cables from the Android ones.<\/p>\n<p>However, a company has an idea that could <strong>simplify the device charging experience<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/magbolt\/magbolt-worlds-1st-magnetic-connector-for-iphone-7\" rel=\"nofollow\">MagBolt<\/a>. Dubbed \u201cthe world\u2019s first Apple and Android magnetic connector,\u201d the MagBolt is a dual-sided magnetic connector.<\/p>\n<p class=\"video-19by6\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BJ58IZrb9sQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On one side, the MagBolt sports an Apple Lightning adapter; on the other,  a USB-C adapter Android users are familiar with. By merely <strong>flipping the connector over<\/strong>, the port <strong>can charge devices from both camps<\/strong>. Also supported: fast charging and a magnetic snap-on.<\/p>\n<p>The magnetic connector is complemented with its own magnetic cable. All you need to do is plug the MagBolt\u2019s magnetic connector to your device\u2019s port then snap in onto the connector much like how Macbook cables work.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/magbolt-magnetic-charger-android-apple\/01-snap-charge.gif\" width=\"400\" height=\"519\" alt=\"snap charge\"><\/figure>\n<p>Additionally, the nature of the MagBolt\u2019s magnetic connector also allows it to <strong>protect your device\u2019s charging port<\/strong> from dirt, dust and water.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/magbolt-magnetic-charger-android-apple\/02-dirt-dusk-resistent.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"464\" alt=\"dirt, dust, water resistent\"><\/figure>\n<p>As of the time of writing, the MagBolt <strong>has already reached its funding target of USD12,000<\/strong>.
