These include extensions, plugins and web apps you don\u2019t need.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Disable Avoidable Extensions<\/h3>\n<p>Extensions are tools that extend the functionality of the Chrome browser, which are helpful yet some may actually be less helpful than you think. Extensions mostly run in the background, and parse or filter web pages before they\u2019re displayed on the screen, but will also load their own pack of data from the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>To get better browsing speeds and good response times, disable and\/or delete extensions you don\u2019t actually need.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To disable extensions you do not need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Type \u201c<strong>chrome:\/\/extensions<\/strong>\u201d in your Chrome\u2019s location bar.
