This seems a bit steep but each book lamp is hand-crafted and contains a secret stash that fits two Contraband decks.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/unique-playing-cards\/contraband-and-lamp.jpg\" alt=\"unique-playing-cards\" width=\"926\" height=\"641\"><\/figure>\n<p>The design of the website is also something to behold, it makes the deck look so much better \u2013 seeing it in a fitting environment. Abrams you know what this deck is all about. Mr. Abrams loves secrets and his company, Bad Robot, wanted to instill this in a pack of cards. This is a bit pricey but you\u2019ve got to love the 100 year old reclaimed wood, iron hardware, letterpress note, wax seal \u2013 all the works!<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/unique-playing-cards\/mystery-box-package.jpg\" alt=\"unique-playing-cards\" width=\"946\" height=\"548\"><\/figure>\n<p>$1 per deck is donated to 826 National, a non-profit dedicated to promoting creative writing in schools and workshops around the USA, giving you another reason to grab this great looking deck.<\/p>\n<h2><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/store.theory11.com\/products\/charity-water\">Charity: Water<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>This deck is less flashy than the ones we\u2019ve seen so far but 100% of all proceeds from purchases go toward a great cause: <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.charitywater.org\/\">bringing clean and safe drinking water<\/a> to people in developing nations. Buy a deck now and help people to better drinking water!<\/p>\n<h2><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artofplay.com\/products\/bruce-lee-playing-cards\">Bruce Lee Playing Cards<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>When I started writing up this article I didn\u2019t think Bruce Lee would come up! I had a look at this deck out of pure fascination and it turned out to be pretty good.<\/p>\n<p>The cards come in the same colors as the legend\u2019s famous yellow jumpsuit, which can be a little bit off-putting, you know, for card playing. The back looks a bit trippy when fanned out but I love birds and I think the aces are one of the best-designed ones I\u2019ve seen so far, especially for clubs. If geek is your thing the MailChimp playing cards are a great choice.<\/p>\n<p>I expected them to be a marketing gimmick with MailChimp\u2019s logo all over the place but I was pleasantly surprised. The only actual logo I found was on the gold closing tape which looks fantastic by the way.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/unique-playing-cards\/mailchimp-black.jpg\" alt=\"unique-playing-cards\" width=\"792\" height=\"628\"><\/figure>\n<p>You can get a <strong>black<\/strong> or a <strong>red pack for $9.95<\/strong> each, or you can get a 1<strong>2-pack brick for $125<\/strong>. I\u2019m not sure I\u2019d want a 12-pack of Mailchimp cards but a black one is welcome in my collection.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/unique-playing-cards\/mailchimp-redcards.jpg\" alt=\"unique-playing-cards\" width=\"666\" height=\"424\"><\/figure>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/unique-playing-cards\/mailchimp-brick.jpg\" alt=\"unique-playing-cards\" width=\"918\" height=\"583\"><\/figure>\n<p>Buy them and you\u2019ll also be supporting the Fugees Academy which is a member of the Fugees Family \u2013 a non-profit dedicated to working with child survivors of war.<\/p>\n<h2><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forrestgoods.com\/shop\/the-design-deck\">The Design Deck<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>I\u2019m a big fan of design (since I can\u2019t really do it myself) so this deck strikes a chord with me. You get to play cards and learn about typefaces, fonts, art-deco and other design concepts.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the 52 cards teaches you something great. It\u2019s a shame they don\u2019t have a second color deck with more. Perhaps this should be the way to teach design!
