If you need to track the history of your invoices, there\u2019s a <strong>History<\/strong> section, which shows when an invoice has been edited.<\/p>\n<h3>Estimates<\/h3>\n<p>If you need to send estimates (or quotations), this is where you create them. The <strong>New Estimate<\/strong> screen is almost the same as the New Invoice screen, with a few differences.<\/p>\n<p>There are <strong>fewer options in the Quick Settings<\/strong> side panel and a <strong>different set of sidebar options<\/strong> when you view the estimate.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/manage-invoices-easily-billbooks\/new-estimate.jpg\" alt=\"New Estimate\" height=\"302\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Estimates aren\u2019t categorized like invoices; you only have <strong>Draft<\/strong> and <strong>Sent<\/strong> categories for estimates. It also supports formats such as <strong>DOC, XLS, PDF, PPT, PNG, JPG <\/strong>and<strong> ZIP.<\/strong> There is a 5MB file size limit for the attachments.<\/p>\n<h2>Managing Clients And Expenses<\/h2>\n<p>You can manage your client accounts via the client option. The<strong> Client<\/strong> button will open a floating window for <strong>creating a new client<\/strong> for your invoices and estimates.<\/p>\n<p>At this point, you don\u2019t have to fill every field up. Billbooks only requires a company name and the contact details of your primary contact. However, it\u2019s good to fill all the information for record-keeping purposes.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/manage-invoices-easily-billbooks\/new-client.jpg\" alt=\"Create A New Client\" height=\"278\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Billbooks\u2019 multilingual support comes in handy here, as you can <strong>select the language you want to send invoices in<\/strong> based on your client\u2019s preferences.
