To get started, first download the Solo <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.getsoloapp.com\/latest\">source code<\/a> and upload it onto your web server.<\/p>\n<p>In your browser, navigate to the <strong>Solo installation folder<\/strong> to begin the process. For example: <code>http:\/\/www.mysite.com\/solo\/install<\/code>. If the permissions are correct, you can continue the installation process.<\/p>\n<p>Then, click <strong>Next<\/strong> to bring you to the <strong>database setting page<\/strong>. All of Solo\u2019s main features are located on the left sidebar. Solo also provides you with a sample project. The <strong>Projects<\/strong> section informs you about a project\u2019s status and progress, which you can see either in grid or list view. Note that you can\u2019t upload files from this page; you can only do that on the <strong>Projects<\/strong> page.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/managing-team-project-solo\/files-page.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"320\" alt=\"solo\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Configuration<\/h2>\n<p>If the Solo\u2019s default settings don\u2019t meet your requirements, you can customize them.<\/p>\n<h3>Translating to another language<\/h3>\n<p>To translate Solo\u2019s default language, first open the Solo\u2019s language file, which you can find in: <strong>..\/solo\/server\/language\/en\/build\/all.php<\/strong>. Then translate the language within the file.
