Groupiful<\/strong> is a web application that makes managing and organizing group work a whole lot easier. Groupiful combines a clean, easy-to-use interface<\/strong> with the ability to create and share notes, events, tasks and files.<\/p>\n

In addition, it allows you to communicate with group members<\/strong> using a post and comment system<\/a> that should be familiar to anybody who\u2019s used Facebook before.<\/p>\n

Getting Started With Groupiful<\/h2>\n

First off, you need to register. Groupiful doesn\u2019t support logging in with a Google or Facebook account, so you\u2019ll have to set up a new account<\/strong> specifically for Groupiful. The registration process is simple enough though, just enter a username, email and password<\/strong>, verify the provided email address and you\u2019re good to go.<\/p>\n

When you log in for the first time, you\u2019ll be taken to your Dashboard<\/strong>. This is where you access groups and get a quick overview<\/strong> of the Notes, Assigned Tasks, Events and Recent Files from all the groups you\u2019re a part of.<\/p>\n

To create a group, click on My Groups<\/strong> in the top bar and then click on Create a Group<\/strong>. You\u2019ll be taken to the Create a Group<\/strong> screen. Here you can set the name of the group and a short description, as well as set the group\u2019s privacy and group members\u2019 default role.<\/p>\n

To invite people, first select the group you want to add members to. Then click on the Manage<\/strong> link in the top bar. This will take you to the group management interface.<\/p>\n

To add members, click on the Members<\/strong> icon in the list on the left. This will take you to a list of all the active members<\/strong> in the group. You\u2019ll see some links at the top of the list. Click on Invite<\/strong>. Here, you can either enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite, or grab an invitation link that you can send to them via IM or chat.<\/p>\n

Groupiful Features<\/h2>\n

Groupiful has a number of handy features that will undoubtedly help you better organize and manage your groups. Within these groups, you can create and assign tasks to members, post notes, create events and upload files<\/strong>. All of these are accessed through the previously mentioned group management interface.<\/p>\n

Clicking on one of the Notes, Files, Tasks or Events icons in the left-hand navigation buttons will take you to a list of items<\/strong> for that particular category. You can edit and delete items<\/strong> directly from the list. The list also shows different information depending on which category you\u2019re viewing.<\/p>\n

To add a new item, click the New<\/strong> link that\u2019s right above the list. Clicking it will take you to another screen where you can add a new note, event or task, or upload a new file. Here\u2019s what adding a new note looks like:<\/p>\n

In addition to these features, Groupiful also lets members of a group communicate with each other<\/strong> within the app itself. Groupiful has a Posts<\/strong> feature that keeps members updated on new (or updated) notes, tasks, events and files, as well as allowing members to post ideas or thoughts<\/strong>. Other members can comment on and discuss<\/strong> these posts or updates.<\/p>\n
