Well, that is about to change. Let me introduce to you a new, reinvented way to<strong> write, share, and collaborate on your web projects<\/strong> using Editorially.<\/p>\n<p>Editorially is a minimalistic text editor that spares you the bells and whistles and lets you get down to just putting your ideas onto paper. No toolboxes, no formatting guides; all that matters is you and what you want to write. That said, there are some great traits hidden away in a sticky bar on the top of the writing space.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/editorially-collaborative-writing\/sticky-bar.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"302\" alt=\"Editorially Sticky Bar\"><\/figure>\n<p>Hidden in <strong>fluid and simple drop-down menus<\/strong> are your tools to do things like creating new documents, saving your current version, exporting your content, talking to collaborators, finding and comparing current and previous versions, and more.<\/p>\n<h2>Version Control<\/h2>\n<p>A common problem in publishing is the need to work out multiple versions of the same article. Stay on top of all these different versions and stay in control of the timeline.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/editorially-collaborative-writing\/compare-timeline.jpg\" width=\"468\" height=\"204\" alt=\"Editorially Compare Timeline\"><\/figure>\n<p>You can<strong> compare old and current versions<\/strong>, which are <strong>dated<\/strong> and even <strong>attributed<\/strong> to the person who made the changes. Choose to revert to a particular version anytime you find it necessary. This is a very nice and convenient feature that takes you away from the <strong>catastrophe of overriding versions and changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Collaborative Writing<\/h2>\n<p>You can invite fellow Editorially users to work on the same document at the same time.
