Since Google owns YouTube, your Hangouts that go live will also be <strong>simultaneously streamed on your YouTube channel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It will be added to your YouTube channel to build an archive of past streams. Use A Shorter URL For Your Google+ Profile<\/h3>\n<p>Vanity URLs have only been given to Google+ pages that look like this: plus.google.com\/+hongkiat.<\/p>\n<p>To do this for individual pages, try Google Plus Nick. All you have to do is <strong>choose a nickname<\/strong> and enter your <strong>Google+ ID <\/strong>(You can find your Google+ ID by going to your profile and copying out all the numbers on the address bar). Search Tips On Google+<\/h3>\n<p>The search bar on Google+ is as powerful as the Google search engine but the search is limited to everything on Google+ only. You can <strong>search by hashtags, or by  photos only <\/strong>by pressing the Photos button under the search bar after you\u2019ve searched for something.<\/p>\n<p>You can also narrow down any keyword by <strong>entering the month and year<\/strong>. Looking for \"Hongkiat January 2013\" will only show his Google+ posts during January 2013.<\/p>\n<p>You can even look up shared comments with friends via <strong>\"your name your friends name\"<\/strong> e.g. \"Brian Voo Hong Kiat\" which brings up every public post or comments (and even private posts if you\u2019re included) the two names have participated in.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/gplus-shortcuts-tips-tricks\/gplus-search-photos.jpg\" alt=\"Google+ Search\" width=\"500\" height=\"322\"><\/figure>\n<h3>8. How To Send Private Messages<\/h3>\n<p>Sending private messages on Google+ is a little different from other social networking sites. You won\u2019t find a message inbox. <strong>Sending private messages to other users<\/strong> on Google+ is like posting something on your stream, but with only 1 intended member of the audience.<\/p>\n<p>So instead of addressing it to the public or your circles, <strong>address it just to 1 particular person<\/strong>.
