Some photo editing tools let you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hongkiat.com\/blog\/11-sites-to-create-cartoon-characters-of-yourself\/\">cartoonize your photo<\/a> while others allow you to apply effects. Then, there are tools which allow you to add text to your photos in the form of a watermark or a caption.<\/p>\n<p>Other than applying effects and text, now you can also <strong>add stamp templates to your photos<\/strong> with <strong>picstamp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Picstamp<\/strong> is a photo-editing iOS app which <strong>allows you to choose stamp templates and put additional info on your photos<\/strong> \u2013 imagine putting a tweet on your pictures. Then, run the app.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be presented with a straight user interface where the only functional icon is the camera icon. <strong>Tap on the camera icon<\/strong> to take an image and it will ask for permission to access your photos.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/tap-camera-allow-access.jpg\" alt=\"allowing access to photo gallery\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>You can choose to take a new photo or you can choose one photo from your photo gallery. Then it will bring you to a page to <strong>choose your template<\/strong>. Swipe left or right on the template bar to see more templates.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/take-pic-gallery-template.jpg\" alt=\"choose photo and choose template\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>After settling with a template, tap on \u2018Next\u2019 and there will be pop-up asking if you want to connect picstamp with your Facebook account.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/connect-with-facebook.jpg\" alt=\"connect with facebook\" height=\"360\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Customizing Your Stamps<\/h2>\n<p>Now, you can edit the template that you have chosen.<\/p>\n<p>To make the template bigger tap on the \u2018arrow\u2019 icon and pull it up to make it bigger or down to make it smaller. You can place the template some place else by pressing on the \u2018arrow\u2019 icon and dragging it to your desired spot.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/bigger-move.jpg\" alt=\"resize template move template\" height=\"359\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>You can also edit the template by tapping on \u2018Edit\u2019 on the bottom bar. There are two tabs for editing, one is \u2018Style\u2019 and another is \u2018Text\u2019.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/tap-on-edit.jpg\" alt=\"edit template\" height=\"359\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>On \u2018Style\u2019 tab, you can choose to show the avatar not. Without the avatar, all you got is text.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/on-off-avatar.jpg\" alt=\"on and off avatar\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>With the avatar on, you can change your avatar image. Tap on the image icon and it will let you choose an image from your photo gallery to replace the current avatar.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/change-avatar.jpg\" alt=\"replace avatar image\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>You can also change the color of the text on the template by tapping on \u2018Color\u2019. If the color you want to choose is not available, press on any color for a few seconds and a color palette will pop. Use the color palette to create your custom color.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/change-color.jpg\" alt=\"change text color\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>And lastly, you can adjust the opacity of the stamp.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/adjust-opacity.jpg\" alt=\"adjust template opacity\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>To change the text on the stamp, go to the \u2018Text\u2019 tab and edit the text on the template. Tap on the text space to start editing the text.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/tex-tab.jpg\" alt=\"edit text\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Edit Your Info<\/h2>\n<p>Under the \u2018Settings\u2019 icon is where you can edit your personal info. Your personal info is used to prefill the stamps, so you don\u2019t have to do it for every single stamp you use.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/settings.jpg\" alt=\"more settings\" height=\"360\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Tap on \u2018Your Info\u2019 and fill in your name, age, location, phone number and others.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/your-info.jpg\" alt=\"tap on your info\" height=\"360\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>You can also connect to the app via Facebook account by tapping on \u201cUse Facebook Info\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/use-fb-info-edit-manually.jpg\" alt=\"use facebook info or manually edit your info\" height=\"359\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>When you\u2019re done editing tap on \u2018Settings\u2019 and then tap on \u2018Done and it will bring you back to the photo page.<\/p>\n<h2>Share On Instagram<\/h2>\n<p>As stated earlier, picstamp is designed to specifically work well with Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>To share your photo on Instagram, tap on <strong>Export<\/strong> and tap on <strong>Send to Instagram.<\/strong> picstamp will automatically save a copy of your photo in your \u2018Camera Roll\u2019.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/export-to-instagram.jpg\" alt=\"export to instagram\" height=\"359\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Tap on \u2018Open in Instagram\u2019 to open the photo on Instagram where you can apply your filters.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/open-in-instagram.jpg\" alt=\"open in instagram\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Fill in the caption and other info like how you usually share a photo on Instagram and tap on \u2018Share\u2019. With that you\u2019re done and the photo you edited on picstamp is shared on your Instagram account!<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/share-on-instagram.jpg\" alt=\"share on instagram\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Limitations<\/h2>\n<p>picstamp is a fun app to use but there are a few limitations. One, <strong>you can\u2019t share photos to Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest or other social platforms<\/strong>. You can only share photos directly to Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Another partial-limitation is on every photo you edit using picstamp there is a \u2018#picstamp\u2019 watermark on it. The only way to not have the watermark on your photo is to buy their Premium Template Pack for $0.99. To buy it, tap on \u2018Settings\u2019 and then tap on \u2018Watermark\u2019.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/express-photo-picstamp\/settings-watermark.jpg\" alt=\"upgrade picstamp by purchasing it \" height=\"359\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>A pop-up will ask if you want to purchase the stamp templates.
