You will be requested to permit a superuser request (Root Access). Choose <strong>Grant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/full-android-backup\/superuser-request.jpg\" height=\"254\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>After that, let the app detect your device.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/full-android-backup\/device-recognition.jpg\" height=\"80\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>If the auto detection doesn\u2019t work you can select your device from the \u2018Auto-detected\u2019 list. But if you want to do the backup manually, follow these steps.<\/p>\n<p>Return to the backup page, at the top right, there are 3 dots beside the Magic Brand Icon. One of the more popular ones could be caused by the user selecting the wrong device-specific path. The right path is needed to tell the script where to find the boot and recovery partitions. Orange Backup will handle backing up all the relevant partitions for you, so unless you know what you are doing, just leave it to Orange.<\/p>\n<p>Be advised that you should <strong>only use the SD-EXT option if you use apps like app2sd, link2sd, data2sd, etc<\/strong>. Otherwise leave that option disabled.
