Apple does not offer its proprietary browser on Android or Windows.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s the solution then? A trick allows you to get your bookmarks from iOS or macOS on Android or Windows. The idea is to sync your bookmarks on iOS or macOS to iCloud, and from there, sync them to Android or Windows. <strong>So, are you ready to get back your bookmarks?<\/strong> Let\u2019s get into the details then.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Since iCloud is unavailable for Android, the only viable option is to use iCloud on Windows to sync your bookmarks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hongkiat.com\/blog\/chrome-features\/\">Google Chrome<\/a>. Install iCloud on Windows<\/h2>\n<p>First of all, you must <strong>download <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-in\/HT204283\" rel=\"noopener\">iCloud<\/a><\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-in\/HT204283\" rel=\"noopener\"> for Windows<\/a>. Then, run the downloaded installer to install iCloud on Windows. It\u2019s super straightforward, right?<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/ios-bookmarks-to-chrome\/install-apple-s-icloud-windows-10.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"476\" alt=\"Install Apple's iCloud on Windows 10\"><\/figure>\n<p>However, I did get an error while I was installing Apple\u2019s iCloud. I got an error message saying \u201c<em>Media Feature Pack is missing<\/em>\u201c. If you get a similar error, you must search for \u201c<strong>Control Panel<\/strong>\u201d and open it. Then, click \u201c<strong>Programs and Features<\/strong>\u201d and click \u201c<strong>Turn Windows features on or off<\/strong>\u201d in the sidebar.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/ios-bookmarks-to-chrome\/configure-windows-features-windows-10.jpg\" width=\"555\" height=\"492\" alt=\"Configure Windows Features in Windows 10\"><\/figure>\n<p>Under <strong>Windows Features<\/strong>, check \u201c<strong>Media Features<\/strong>\u201d and click <strong>OK<\/strong>. Maybe it will ask to download files or restart the system, just confirm those actions. Then finally, try installing iCloud and it shall install as smoothly as possible.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Log in to the iCloud app<\/h2>\n<p>After you\u2019re done installing <strong>iCloud<\/strong>, search for it in the Start menu and launch it. You will see its welcome screen, which asks you to log in to your iCloud account. In the app, enter your account credentials and click the \u201c<strong>Sign In<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/ios-bookmarks-to-chrome\/log-icloud-windows-apple-id.jpg\" width=\"818\" height=\"425\" alt=\"Log in to iCloud on Windows with your Apple ID\"><\/figure>\n<p>Once you have signed in to the app, you must configure the content and features you wish to keep up to date on Windows 10. Since we need the bookmarks, you must check <strong>Bookmarks<\/strong> and click its <strong>Options<\/strong>, then select <strong>Chrome<\/strong> in its options. You can also check <strong>Firefox<\/strong> if you need to transfer bookmarks to it too.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/ios-bookmarks-to-chrome\/sync-icloud-bookmarks-google-chrome.jpg\" width=\"779\" height=\"578\" alt=\"Sync iCloud bookmarks with Google Chrome\"><\/figure>\n<p>And finally, click the <strong>Apply<\/strong> button at the bottom of the app. After iCloud finishes syncing the selected content and features, you\u2019ll see your bookmarks from Safari Browser in Google Chrome (and Mozilla Firefox if you selected it as well).<\/p>\n<p>Now, you can open Google Chrome, click the three-dotted button. Then, under <strong>Bookmarks<\/strong>, click \u201c<strong>Bookmark manager<\/strong>\u201d to see the bookmarks. If you don\u2019t see your bookmarks, do check them under \u201c<strong>Other bookmarks<\/strong>\u201d on the left.
