What would make it even greater is integration with external services; heavily used services like Gmail or Google Calendar. We found an app called Powerbot that will do that for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Powerbot<\/strong> allows you to link the power of notes and reminders in Evernote to your scheduling tool, Google Calendar. There is also another app that lets you create and access your Evernote directly from the Gmail webpage through a web browser extension. We\u2019ll run through both apps below.<\/p>\n<h2>Sync Google Calendar With Evernote<\/h2>\n<p>This Powerbot tweak will create a note in Evernote every time you create or accept an invite to a Google Calendar event. It\u2019s very simple to set up, here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/connect-evernote-with-gcal-gmail\/powerbot-for-google-calendar.jpg\" height=\"208\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Go to their website and click on the <strong>green \u2018Start here\u2019 button<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll then be asked to give Powerbot authorization to your Google account to access your Google Calendar. Login with your Google account details and click on \u2018Allow access\u2019.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/connect-evernote-with-gcal-gmail\/powerbot-gcal-google.jpg\" alt=\"Powerbot Google Account\" width=\"500\" height=\"270\"><\/figure>\n<p>Next, you have to allow Powerbot to access your Evernote account in order for it to create notes for you. Note that you need not use the same Google account; it still works even if you signed up for Evernote with an email account that is different from your Google account.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/connect-evernote-with-gcal-gmail\/powerbot-gcal-evernote.jpg\" alt=\"Powerbot Evernote Account\" width=\"500\" height=\"353\"><\/figure>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve given Powerbot access to those two accounts, you\u2019ll see a settings page where you can set which <strong>calendars to extract events<\/strong> from and <strong>customize the way the note is created<\/strong>. You can also add a custom logo to the created note.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/connect-evernote-with-gcal-gmail\/powerbot-gcal-settings.jpg\" alt=\"Powerbot Google Calendar Settings\" width=\"500\" height=\"617\"><\/figure>\n<p>Here\u2019s a sample of the note template Powerbot will automatically create for you. In it you will see your selected logo, the participants invited through Google Calendar, and other relevant information.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/connect-evernote-with-gcal-gmail\/powerbot-gcal-note.jpg\" alt=\"Powerbot Note\" width=\"500\" height=\"800\"><\/figure>\n<p>You\u2019ll even find that Powerbot also automatically links the Notes you\u2019ve created in other Notebooks during the time of the Meeting. These will be placed under \u2018Other notes from the meeting\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Powerbut is a very handy tool to have if your daily needs rely heavily on Evernote and Google Calendar.<\/p>\n<h2>Access Evernote Notes On Gmail<\/h2>\n<p>Here\u2019s how to easily create notes from emails and share existing ones via Gmail.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/connect-evernote-with-gcal-gmail\/powerbot-for-gmail.jpg\" height=\"177\" width=\"500\"><\/figure>\n<p>Go to their website and install the Powerbot browser extension, supported on Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Again, you\u2019ll have to <strong>give Powerbot access to your Google and Evernote account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/connect-evernote-with-gcal-gmail\/powerbot-gcal-evernote.jpg\" alt=\"Powerbot Gmail Evernote\" width=\"500\" height=\"353\"><\/figure>\n<p>Done?
