Wouldn\u2019t it be great to manage all your data on your Android device like you can on a laptop? With AirDroid, you can.<\/p>\n<p>AirDroid lets you connect your Android device with a desktop PC or laptop where you can access files, send\/receive SMS, install\/uninstall apps, and manage large amounts of data on your Android smartphone or tablet. Oh, and it lets you do this wirelessly.<\/p>\n<h2>Getting Started with AirDroid<\/h2>\n<p>To begin using AirDroid, ensure your desktop PC or laptop is on the same wireless network as your Android device. This links your mobile device with your desktop PC or laptop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On your Android device:<\/strong> Go to Google Play and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.sand.airdroid\">download and install AirDroid<\/a>. Run the app.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On your desktop PC or laptop:<\/strong> Navigate to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/web.airdroid.com\">web.airdroid.com<\/a> or enter the IP address shown on your Android device.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/manage-android-devices-wirelessly\/airdroid-web.jpg\" alt=\"AirDroid web interface showing connection options\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Login to AirDroid<\/h2>\n<p>You can log in by scanning the QR code or entering a 6-digit code.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To log in via QR code scan:<\/strong> Tap the camera button in the AirDroid app and scan the QR code shown on your browser.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To log in via passcode:<\/strong> Input the 6-digit passcode you see on your Android device into your web browser.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/manage-android-devices-wirelessly\/airdroid-passcode.jpg\" alt=\"AirDroid passcode login screen\" width=\"500\" height=\"180\"><\/figure>\n<p>Once you have successfully logged in, you\u2019ll see icons and other relevant information about your device. Your devices are now connected. Let\u2019s get to work.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/manage-android-devices-wirelessly\/airdroid-home.jpg\" alt=\"AirDroid web home screen\" width=\"500\" height=\"326\"><\/figure>\n<h3>What You Can Do with AirDroid<\/h3>\n<p>After logging in, you can click on any of the icons to start managing and controlling your Android device from your desktop PC.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the list of icons and their functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Messages<\/strong> \u2013 Create, receive, or reply to SMS messages.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Music<\/strong> \u2013 Manage and upload music content to your device.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contacts<\/strong> \u2013 Manage and edit contact details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apps<\/strong> \u2013 Manage apps installed on your device or install an app with an APK file from your desktop.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ringtones<\/strong> \u2013 Manage and upload phone, notification, and alarm ringtones.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Frequent Contacts<\/strong> \u2013 Shows contacts you frequently communicate with.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Files<\/strong> \u2013 File explorer similar to exploring files when your device is plugged into your computer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Videos<\/strong> \u2013 Manage, view, and upload video files.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Screenshot<\/strong> \u2013 Take screenshots of your Android device (rooted devices only).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Call Logs<\/strong> \u2013 View or delete details of incoming, outgoing, or missed calls.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Photos<\/strong> \u2013 Manage and upload photos on your Android device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>AirDroid Browser \u2018Widgets\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>There are more features you can use with widgets found on your browser, such as the Clipboard, URL Opener, and Search Bar.<\/p>\n<p>The clipboard allows you to control the clipboard of your device, useful for transferring a long string of text or digits from your computer to your device.<\/p>\n<p>The URL opener opens the copied link on the default browser of your Android device.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/manage-android-devices-wirelessly\/airdroid-widgets.jpg\" alt=\"AirDroid browser widgets\" width=\"500\" height=\"323\"><\/figure>\n<p>Finally, the Search Bar lets you look for apps on the Play Store or Quixey.
