Click on \u2018Resync\u2019 if you want to specifically set the delay time.<\/p>\n<p>In this tutorial, we will do some changes for the whole movie, now click on \u2018More\u2026\u2019 button.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Now you will be listed with all available subtitles for the video, alongside the timeline.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/quicktips\/subtitle-sync-edit-box.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"577\" alt=\"Edit Box\"><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Double-click on the subtitles you want to re-sync. At the top left of the edit window, there are number of buttons you can use to re-sync your subtitles.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.hongkiat.com\/uploads\/quicktips\/subtitle-sync-edit-box-buttons.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"103\" alt=\"Edit Buttons\"><\/figure>\n<p><span class=\"key\">[<\/span> \u2013 Delay subtitles by -0.5 seconds<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"key\">]<\/span> \u2013 Push forward subtitle by +0.5 seconds<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"key\">TS<\/span> \u2013 Sync whole subtitle with a specific time<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"key\">SS<\/span> \u2013 Sync the selected subtitle with a specific time<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"key\">R<\/span> \u2013 Reset subtitle sync<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"key\">S<\/span> \u2013 Reset selected subtitle sync<\/p>\n<p>There are more buttons at the top right of the window, but you will be using more on the left.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Now to specifically re-sync selected subtitle, double-click on any specific subtitle, click on the \u2018SS\u2019 button and set the time you want to adjust, use positive integer to push-forward while negative integer to delay a little.
