Famous video sharing site YouTube banned in Brazil. Why? because they failed to keep a sex videos of Brazilian media starlet Daniela Cicarell out of their site. Users of YouTube keep uploading when the video was taken down by the moderators.

Brazilian local court then decided to banned YouTube domain nationwide at DNS level. A local article says this.

The case now goes automatically to a three-member panel of judges who will decide whether to make the order permanent and whether to fine YouTube as much as US$119,000 (euro91,000) for each day the video was viewable, said Rubens Decousseau Tilkian.

I did a search in YouTube and still see a lot of results returning the video. It’s not easy to banned a video when demand and curiosity is high rise.
