For those whom countries only broadcast of paid TV and you’re not subscribe to, this should be a good news. It’s also a great news for white collars to take a break off work to go online and catch some live updates. I tried to watch the opening ceremony on that site but it would not work. You could get close but the actual feed would not load. I suspect this is blocking due to NBC owning the U.S. rights.
We ended up finding it being broadcast live in high quality on a local Chinese TV station’s website!
