What if you have files that need to be uncompress (unzip) but they are in formats you just don’t have the software do it? Most of us encounter this when we are downloading files from the internet, where author compress the files in formats like 7z, RAR, ISO, etc.
Wobzip is an online service that helps you to unzip almost any compressed formats, and that includes these following formats for now:
7z, ZIP, GZIP, TAR, BZIP2, RAR, CAB, ARJ, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB, LZH, SPLIT, CHM, ISO
To uncompress files, browse to your file and click uncompress from the website. Wobzip currently supports up to 100Mb of single compressed file. Wobzip will list all files for download after it has successfully uncompress it.

What’s hot
It’s good that you don’t have to download each an every application to support all compression formats.
What’s not
Unicode currently not supported, and it will listen to files compressed with password.

Seems slow but i am trying to uncompress a 24mb rar… Does it work in firefox? Could do with a progress indicator just to let people know whether the file is actually uncompressing or if the browser is just hanging.
Free though and no adds so if it works well for small files then thats still useful and very much appreciated.

thanks mate.. I was looking for something like this to use in our college’s computer lab (they don’t provide unzipping software in the pcs to prevent us from downloading anything!). this one solved the problem:)
