Do you call TMnet Streamyx customer service often? If you are a Streamyx user, I suppose you at least called them once before. Here’s a audio clip Cely showed me just now. Conversations between TMnet Streamyx custcare and a frustrated customer. It makes me wonder, who released this piece of conversation.

    I would be pissed off too if TMNet suggested that I replace the modem JUST for them to “double-confirm” the problem is not on my side. What disappointed me was his racist remarks.

    Someone have been missing his porn I guess. He doesn’t even know what “escalate” means? If I were TM, I wouldn’t care if I lose a customer like this.

    That’s one hell of pissed customer. Well now i also pissed because it’s been 2 days and the streamyx is still not stable and sometimes DC. But to think that he will reach to that level of rudeness, it was…lol.

    Well this is my own experience on talking to TM: (text)

    Me: Excuse me. I come here to get a replacement for a faulty modem.
    TM: 100.
    Me: Excuse me?
    TM: You can use the phone right there, then call for 100.
    Me: …..ok…..

    **then I go dail 100, then….**

    Me: Good day. I call to get a replacement for faulty modem.
    TM: Sorry Sir. But you dailed the wrong number. Please try dialling 100xxxxxxxx.
    Me: (staring at the TM guy who give me the 100). Ok. Sorry for the trouble.
    TM: Anything else?
    Me: No. Thank you.
    TM: Thank you for calling to TM.

    Giving me the wrong number doesn’t piss me off. But the way he talk to me is pissing me off big time.

    Someone “has” been missing his porn. What do you care? He’s a paying customer nonetheless.. He has every right as you do by posting this “insightful” posting your putting. Go bugger your own problem, or somebody else.

    I say kudos to the girl. If I were her I would have terminated the call and just ignore the guy’s call. Nobody deserves to be shouted at especially over the phone. If you are man enough try shouting face to face and see how people will look at you, asshole. The girl and the supervisor are smart because they know if they join the shouting match then in the end ‘customer is always right’ applies. Regardless of what your feelings towards TMnet, imagine if you are running a business and one day this man becomes your customer and your employees are at the receiving end of his shouting and vulgarity (for whatever reason). Even if the shouting is not directed at you but you’ll feel the heart pain by your employees. I wouldn’t allow that for certain.

    On the other hand, I can understand why the man shouted his heart out. Maybe he invested so much into new network card and new modem and got frustrated because they doesn’t solve his connection problem. I would be frustrated too if I followed the troubleshooting instructions given by the service provider, whereby the instructions involve me buying things (all costs borne by the user) and still end up not having a connection. What more, the TMnet technician reiterated that there was something wrong with his hardware. Either the technician is incompetent or TMnet has a lousy standard troubleshooting method.

    I dont think it’s neccessary to shout and use bad words to the customer services representative and their supervisor aka Team Leader. They cant do nothing other than creating reports and listening to customer complaint. The person that u need to shout is at the vendor that TM hired.

    If you’ve had the same experiences with TM as I’ve had for the last couple of years, you will automatically be pissed off when you have to talk to their idiotic “supporters”. They’ll give you crap like:

    -Yes we are experiencing slow international connections right now.

    (Well, I’ve had mega slow connections forever, this is not a new problem)

    When you face then with the facts that you are quite familiar with their responses and also an experienced internet user/developer who needs vpn access to servers in other countries… If you get the right person you’ll get all the truths.

    -Yes We know that the 115, 118, 124 Network (4 megabit) has some problems on international connections.

    (THEN FIX IT STUPID MONKEYS)

    -But if you buy the wireless, it’s very unreliable, even worse than the the fixed line.

    (THE FIXED LINE IS CRAP, THE WIRELESS IS EVEN WORSE)

    My favourite part was last time I had to fight with Streamyx. I was finally informed that my problems were connected to my 4 megabit package as that network didn’t really work. I should change to 1 megabit and thereby move to another network that worked better. In other words, I could speed up my connection by buying a slower one. That makes sense, right…. Malysia Boleh!

    I made a call to 100 and complain after calling 4 times (last call, ‘MF**ker’ tm disconnect me) on 3rd March. Call again 100 today, some stupid but polite girl ask me to hold on…hold on & hold on for 15 minutes 34 sec. Really piss me!! Try again, this time a man with rude reply ‘entertain’ me, i get really angry for his language “lain kali kalo org bagi no, ingat la”. Ask that ’shit’ to watch his language and he treaten me “talian ini sedang dirakamkan”….wTF!!!!

    This Streamyx is pissed off. muttafxcker . calling dammed many times 100 . No reply . i better called 1300-88-6888, but have to wait . Is more fxckin better than 100. It still got turn for u to know .
    I have wait one month without Internet . Bcoz of changing Muttxfucxker number . Dammed ! streamyx !

    ok,i think mine comment is belated, anyway, i encounter streamyx connection failure too, it realy piss me off!

    at first i call, the they would say,
    try to turn on and off the modem,
    check the line if its connected,
    do you hear any wavvy noice while you use the phone,
    try to connect manually,
    type cmd something at the run at the start up menu and bla bla bla,
    which took me about 30-60minute untill they would say
    ok, im entering you complain, this is your complain number and we will check up afterwards.
    man, you know, my neck is in pain for just picking up the phone, im a polite person, i dint shout but really piss off

    then theres no one would come to me until almost the end of the day someone call back to ask, if i already get my connection or not?

    i have encounter couple of same problem and when i call, they would do the same thing all over again, and they i was so piss off – but still i dint shout, i said the the operator, i did everything you told me and i still dont have the connection, di you have any upgrades going on, or you have some lighthing struck on you system or what so ever? cant you send in someone to me? i do need internet you know. i have things to do with internet.
    they still they would say, ok, this is your complain number..bla bla bla

    and i still encounter connection failure during nitgh time, when i call, for hell 1 hour of repeated calls, no one answer, that means, the 24hr service is a boo, no one there.
    now i wont cal tm anymore, even i still have problem with connection, but it restore in around couples of hours
    i let it be but if the connection failure was like more than whole day or two, then i will call up

    but still, i wont shout, its not me, even i would want to shout at them, realy really want to, but i still wont shout, not me

    and hell shit tm is sucks, but i still use it, sucks me too

    never get streamyx able to stream at subscribed speed. you will be luck to have 1 week smooth within 1/2 year of service.

    my 1st encounter with tmnet support
    Me: Kak , why i am unable to get ping replys from remote hosts.It has beed a week now.Did your people blocked incoming echo reply?

    Tmnet woman: Saya , saya tak tau la encik.

    Encounter with tmnet technician(This guy say he’s a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

    Me: Boss , kasi siap pasang ADSL sama network card sekali berapa caj?
    Tmnet technician:$70
    Me:ok kasi pasang , nanti saya kasi wang.
    Tmnet technician:eh u network card bukan tmnet kasi punya DLINK ka?
    Me:tak , wa pakai 3com.
    The fella spent the next 45 minutes trying to set my 3com nic because the setting in DLINK’s nic is slightly different.BEing impatient i set the network card on my own taking roughly abt 5 mins.After im done i asked him ,
    Me:Semua berapa wang?
    Tmnet technicia:70 ma , tadi sudah cakap
    Me:Lu kasi saya ka?saya bikin ma
