Technorati has made some obvious change to their website, especially on the main page. That explains the downtime yesterday. It is also very clear that Technorati is not really concentrating on their blog search function anymore and Micheal Arrington of TechCrunch says this might be a move to avoid Google’s Blog Search.

The new design looks quite okay to me, but just the ticker on top that keeps on playing the tags, really not a fan of it.
