PayPerPost, the blog advertising company has just signed the Letter of Intent regarding the acquisition of Performancing LLC. Perfomancing.com is a community site for professional bloggers and it has 28 thousand bloggers since launched in 2005.

PayPerPost will be acquiring two of Performancing’s tools, the Performancing Metrics and Performancing Exchange but not the Firefox blog editor technology and Partners ad technology. That two will be migrating to a new brand later on.

Performancing Metrics is a great tool for bloggers to track their daily visitors statistics (blog visitors, comments, ads clicks, etc), Adsense auditing and it is free. In the other hand, Performancing Exchange serves as free employment system helping companies and blog sites to look for professional bloggers.

I think the acquisition is an awesome combination of two company of the same industry, just like Adobe acquiring Macromedia. It will definitely help PayPerPost to build out the company as well as improving the value of their offering to both advertisers and bloggers.

With the acquisition I am looking forward to see the upgrades in existing tools (especially getting the Perfomancing stats to be more accurate), introducing of more services and of course the raising of the paid blog values.

The acquisitions process is undergoing and expected to be completed by the end of January.
