PayPal recovers from glitch, Malaysians can now accept payments

PayPal slapped Malaysians online money makers with a compulsory page to add US Banks before they can accept payments earlier this month. Some bloggers were desperate, chose to add a US bank account with random numbers, deleting the bank after accepting the payment. It is really obvious that such act is just going to jeopardize their PayPal account, or worst, bringing Malaysians’ reputation from bad (previous credit card frauds) to worst.

CincauHangus has just given me a head up; he can now receive payments in PayPal as usual. I assumed that Malaysians who stayed waiting without playing with these random bank accounts like I’ve suggested, your patience has just got rewarded. Login to your PayPal account to double confirm this. Leave a comment to help verifying this, thanks.

I’ve recover from the glitch..too. However I see that some if not most people are still not able to receive their payment. Maybe the fix is not entirely done yet….just be patient for a few more days, I’m sure paypal is working on it..

Good News. I waited and it pay off. I agreed we should not promote use of fake US account Number. I managed to accept all my unclaimed monet at Paypal.

I did apply for the VMI Card which I intend to use for withdrawal of Paypal Money.

it sure looks ok now … never try to fool around with financial institution especially from usa … you stand to loose … they might looks like a giant bullying you on the surface but they’ve their own reason for doing so – if not for some bad apples who tarnish the image of this country, not that this country has a good record from the top officials though …

anyway, if you depends on that bridge, never try to start a fire or else you’re the one who will be in uncomfort situation …

    cheers

Hi HongKiat, I agree with you about the childish act on receiving money with the random bank numbers. It is surely gonna jeopardize our reputation more, sadly.

If one is serious to make money online, i’d suggest them to really find a way to withdraw the money from paypal. Many companies uses paypal as a payment method. it doesn’t hurt to really apply for a real good method. Otherwise, what is good of receiving money you can only see but not touch?

I forgot to add, if anyone of you need a good recommendation on withdrawing with a US account, just drop me a line. I am a full time eBay.com seller and I rely on Paypal for my business. This recommendation of mine is very helpful and provide good support. I just hope I can provide some guidelines.

There is a massive change underway in the mobile media market as it becomes unshackled from the operators’ portals that have dominated it for a decade, all without having made any significant inroads into the content use of mobile users. The new capped data packages, fuelled by further competition, will see a total revamp of the mobile media market. It will no longer be based on portals but on direct services by content and services providers via open source phones and mobile-friendly Internet-based services. The next step is the continued emergence of m-commerce and in particular m-payment services.
