2nd Level Domain (2LD) are domains without .com/.net/.org/.gov etc involved. For example – MYNIC – Malaysian registrar of .my domains will release 2LD (.my) domains to public starting on 9:00 am 25 March 2008. That means any Malaysian registered company or individuals will be able to register, as long as the domain name is still available (first come first serve basis).
