MyBlogLog has just launched their tagging feature. Members of MyBlogLog can now add tags to better describe communities they joined. According to TechCrunch, MBL is also using this tagging system to fight splogs – spammy blogs. If you happen to come across a splog, tag them with “Schmoe” (pronounced as SchMOe) and they stand for “Social Media Optimizer”. MBL Team will then review these tags and take appropriate content.

Anyone can suggest a tag, and vote it up to increase its tag cloud size or vote it down to decrease but only the owner can delete the tags. Have fun tagging.
