Edward, I learned a many new items from your post. The “have different profiles for different social sites” very good suggestion. I felt the same, yet haven’t pin point the feeling until today. I believe the blog readers are different from friends, as they are different from twitter followers. I have tried to not add blog/internet friends to my facebook, only on networkblog, as I believe facebook is a little more personal. Many people lump everything they do in FB and it’s really discouraging as you pointed out – I didn’t know there is a hide button on FB, I might use it soon. Thanks again!
