Once in a while, someone in the blogosphere share their experiences in making money online. I thought that’s really a good idea as it inspires and gives a great guidance for those who are still trying to squeeze some moolah from the Internet. Larry Lim recently gave me a heads up on how he managed to buy a forum at RM2,700 (USD800), rebuild and at last selling it off later at RM70,000 (USD20,000).

Actually, I sold the forum for US$22k while the highest offer was US$25k. All in all, I sold US$36k worth of websites this year.
The advice I wanted to pass on is that there’s no shortcut, whether on the Internet or in the physical world - a misconception by many wannabe online entrepreneurs. Maybe you work a little less if you’re smart or lucky, but that’s about it. You still need patience, determination and passion.
The ‘Umi’ girl who’s detained in China for trafficking drugs after being duped by an attractive Internet ad is a good example of how people can be blinded by greed.
